Congrats. Thx for the big update and all your work.
Ps: i think its bad move that CWR team moved from bis forums. I would not know about this update, good that Sander released new ver. of his pack and write about Beta6 on bis forum in his thread. I think you should still write on bis forum (cwr2 thread) importent news, like news about updates etc. But its only my opinion. ;)

Great work with the update :-)
Armaholic news updated and you can find our mirrors here:

PS: you always write you do not want the missions to be mirrored. But I have to inform you that you keep changing the mission file names. That means if you put out an update of the mission(s) old links wont work. You always change the version number and some times its a 7z archive and other times a rar.
Just something to keep in mind ;-)

Godverdomme, the bloody télechargements for de Nederlandse and Brit addons give a 404 erreur! ;) (the armaholic mirrors) Could you check what's wrong, Foxhound?

EDIT: Actually, the link on your arma2.fr is a pointless mirror that won't really help the server traffic when the file is already on the cwr2.arma2.fr^^

EDIT2: I noticed that the dutchescape mission in the cwr2_nl_v105.rar file is older but a newer version is already in the missions archive.

Some things never change I guess. :-D
Since all files are .rar now I guess this is the one to be used. But hey what do I know. And yeah I guess it's a good idea to keep the version number in the archive name, else it would be a giant mess with all the many different versions around.

I think that happened before too because the archive is kept but only the new addons are added to it. And no one keeps track of the included missions. Might be a good idea to have the DLC missions as extra download/archive.

Links fixed! Sorry I was in a hurry this morning cause I had to go to the other side of the country and wanted to release those pages before leaving..... made a mistake with the url.
It should all be fixed (the UK and NL addon).

The new FIA models have named selections added that allow the units to be clad in a variety of alternative camouflages. Below is a list of patterns available and the commands to be put in the init line to apply them to the jacket and trousers. Mission makers can take advantage of this feature to match the attire of units to the terrain or to provide a greater variety in the appearance of the resistance.

American Woodland pattern:

this setobjecttexture [0,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\snow_c.paa"]; this setobjecttexture [1,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\snow_c.paa"];

Belgian Moon pattern:

this setobjecttexture [0,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\belgian_co.paa"]; this setobjecttexture [1,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\belgian_co.paa"];

Polish Splinter pattern:

this setobjecttexture [0,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\splinter_co.paa"]; this setobjecttexture [1,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\splinter_co.paa"];

Austrian Peadot pattern:

this setobjecttexture [0,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\erbsentarn_co.paa"]; this setobjecttexture [1,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\erbsentarn_co.paa"];

Bundeswehr Shelterhalf pattern:

this setobjecttexture [0,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\zeltbahn_co.paa"]; this setobjecttexture [1,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\zeltbahn_co.paa"];

Swiss Alpenflage pattern:

this setobjecttexture [0,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\swiss_co.paa"]; this setobjecttexture [1,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\swiss_co.paa"];

German Flecktarn pattern:

this setobjecttexture [0,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\flecktarn_co.paa"]; this setobjecttexture [1,"\cwr2\humans\cwr2_soldiers_fia\data\flecktarn_co.paa"];

Sander

Hello, I've been following this mod for awhile and finally decided to give it a go. I never played any arma before a2, a terrible life decision, I know. So, i'm going to start playing some sander missions with my friend who is a OFP veteran.

Is there any remakes of BI missions that are coop, or are all the campaigns sp? Are the any sound mods that could be combined? Does anyone play with AI enhancements?

Like I said, I've tried to follow this for awhile, but apparently this is the only thread left now. So I would appreciate some tips for enjoying this mod to the fullest before we jump in.

Thanks,

Paul

You may have a valid point but no, we won't post over there anymore. With W0lle banned and Max Power no more moderator we lost control over the thread and are unable to update the first post without begging at a moderator for doing that. The only other way would be to create yet another thread by someone from the remaining team. Both is simply not acceptable so the only option was to move over here.

@PlacidPaul
The campaigns are SP only. While it was considered first to make them MP compatible, it would have been way too much work to achieve that. For one because the number of players is different in the CWC campaign; and the Resistance campaign with its equipment transfer from mission to mission would be an even bigger problem.
I'm not sure now, but eventually some of the SP missions can be also played in MP.

Sound mods, JSRS is compatible with CWR2 though the compatibility pbo needs to be updated to include the recently added weapons. AI enhancements might work but could have a negative impact on the missions. You need to try and see I guess. :-)

There are some good MP missions. My favorite being Desert Ambush. There is also Oil War I believe and Hostage Rescue plus a few others. Sanders stuff is really nice too.
