-- A little other mod i will create: A VW Polo 2 hatchback mod (wip)!! (dafuq?!) See updates 2
-- 28/12/2013 : a little gun: a bullpup inspired from Famas, see update 3
-- 06/01/2014: Mi-36 updated, design slightly reworked, modules added, see update 4
Little addition for the polo: a rpg7.., look at the end of update 2.2
-- 15/01/2014: Be-240 alpha2, now able to load tanks, see update 5
-- 29/01/2014: 2 more vehicles: Su-40 fighter and Zubr mk2, see update 6
-- 11/02/2014: texturing takes time: i test resolution and disposition arg, my first attempt (wip): Su-40 cockpit
its ugly and will be LOOONG arrr, more news not so soon.
-- 05/05/2014: little news: this project is not dead, im still weak in texturisation. I continue to learn blender's basics. I have worked on little things: a bullpup smg, a bolt action sniper rifle and a family of tank/apc. If someone is interrested i can externalise texuring.
back to work, news will be released more often. See update 7

I think my mod will evolve to a all-around alternative russian equipment...

UPDATE 2:VW Polo2 mod

Sorry for people waiting planes (as the topic said) but i try some other things in 3D, My first attempt to do something that exist: a polo 2... so i didnt find blueprint to construct this and i only use some Google photo to help me so the model is not accurate, problems of realism can occure.

Its just for fun! I dont know when i release it but i might be long.
A polo 2 in arma 3... a 50 year old cheap vehicle turned into raider recon vehicle.. why not?

Because i added a rpg, a real weapon, i think i will add a M2 cal.50 instead of the actual machine gun as KrossX suggested: more realism in that fun mod, a good duality, thanks!

UPDATE 3 : Famas ng

Just a try in the world of gunz: an imaginated Famas gas-operated and case ejection under the buttstock of the rifle, multiple configuration. The famas-like sight is removable like the cary handle of modern m4 rifle.

UPDATE 4 : Mi-36 alpha 2
Reworked design: - twin turboshaft- 4 foldable seats for passengers- AT missiles pod, rocket pod, external seat pod and canon pod for fun...

Hum, my calibre choice is a little bit too much for a light chopper but i wanted a big canon for fun. i know 30x165 does exist but i wanted more, i can do other gunz to fit with reality. The chopper have two other attachement point under him for additionnal AT missiles or for Quad Canon configuration... I tryed to add a side canon for support chopper but the canon is realy too big in this configuration.. huhu
Now i ll work on the Be-240, i dont think i can reach the level of 32k polygon, i think 45k will be the min i can reach without deleting some of element of the plane, i still work on texturisation. More news soon.

UPDATE 5 Be-240 Alpha 2
still too big (45000+ poligons), 2 external payload point under wings, optionnal refuelling boom, mesh of extended parts for special version like the Il-76 VKP or Il-76 PP ready, now 92 foldable seats, reworked landing gear.

UPDATE 6 Su-40 & Zubr mk2
-- Su-40: 20k polygons, 3 hold for missiles/bombs, possibility of external loading points, stealth design and reverse wings like Su-47, basic vectorial thrust like this F15

-- Zubr mk2: 32k polygons, hold able to receive same amount of equipment like the original, ak-630 replaced by ak-630 duet, lite stealth design to fit the era of arma3, multiple room inside, objects will be added with proxy, if not its a nude version.

Mwa i have two other project: a vks sniper rifle and a special soldier model (hard!)... still a lot of work to do rrrrr

First of all, I'd like to congratulate you on your work so far. It looks very nice. Congrats! *THUMBS UP*

So, the answers to your questions (those that I don't know, I won't answer):

1) The limitation is 32k polygons, if I recal correctly. However, more things can be added by using proxies.
2)-Yes, you can.
-It's possible, but since it's only done with scripts I'd disadvise it. Although, if you get can get an experienced scripter and make some good animations, it could look great.

I'd suggest asking this on the official BIS forums, as well.

32k limitation!... muarg i realy must rework the cargo, it will be hard! I think i will not have any major prob with the ka-72, i draw too much poly on tires or passenger seats inside, i ll return to blender soon.
For more advise i will submit this wip on bis forum too. This mod will be more dificult to script than i expected.
About vehicle dropping i have seen on armaholic a mod that give hability to receive parachutable vehicle support, i will take a look at this later.

I have an other idea that might be fun to create: an air cushioned landing craft based on the Zubr class, i realy like this thing and this can be usefull in the universe of arma, i ll try to do something like this later.

this looks amazing! being an avid pilot in ArmA I am extremely interested in the BE-240!! and as for the loading/transporting vehicles, i think you could probably base it off of the wideley used heli-lift script.

Happy to see people liking this! Be-240 will no be released soon, i must rework the scale of the hold, actually tanks cant stand in. I will release all news of progress here, update and status will be marked at the top of my first message.

Hum, so its just for fun muhahaha. The model is not accurate, problems of realism can occure. I created it from Google pics not from blueprint so some things are interpreted. If you want some info take a look at the end of the first message at "UPDATE 2" note. (imagine a be-240 dropping a polo2 raider,...huhu..)

Hahahaha! That gun looks so big on the tiny car. I don't even understand how the roof can handle so much weight. :-D

i think the VW would be better with a browning .30/.50 cal MG, looks great tho!
