Hey guys, I recently tried installing CBA to AO. I keep getting an error stating CBA Main requires CBA UI Helper and then the game starts but crashes just prior to getting to the main screen. When I looked in the files, I saw the IU Helper file so I assumed I downloaded an incomplete or old version so I tried it from a link on a similar thread on this site. After that failed I decided to start fresh. I uninstalled all local content ( it's run through steam) and I also cleared out any files for both Arma II and AO that were left on my computer. I also deleted all mod files I had installed (Mostly DayZ and DayZ Commander). After reinstalling from Steam I am still getting the same error message. Its a fairly new computer and I, stupidly, haven't created any backup points to go back to for the system. I'm completely at a loss. Anyone have any ideas or have a similar problem?
-Thanks

Did you properly install all files?
Are you using the latest Arma 2: OA Beta patch?

Foxhound, Yeah I had it installed and just went and red-downloaded it just in case it didn't install properly or there was a newer patch out. Anyways the result is still the same.
As far as installing the files properly I'm almost sure I did. I put the @CBA folder in the AO main folder and then put the BIKEY files into the Keys folder. That was all I did. Am I missing a step in there?

# FlightSargent : I put the @CBA folder in the AO main folder

You mean the @CBA_CO folder?

Well, all info point to outdated version or you have some leftovers somewhere.
I suggest delete all CBA folders/files you know, than you search your entire PC for any CBA file and delete that as well (search your entire PC, not just the game install folder). Than re-download the CBA file hosted here and install that.

That is really the only advice I can give you, I assume with DayZ commander and PwS somewhere an additional CBA is installed.
