Maybe the daytime command is what you are looking for.

OK make a trigger, size doesn't matter (can be 0). In the condition field you type
daytime > 9
This activates the trigger when the time of date is bigger then 0900 (9:00 AM). In the onActivation line you type whatever should happen then.

The second question: Place a trigger and synchronize it with the vehicle. The X and Y axis you set as big as you need them, 50m x 50m for example. The activation is now fixed to vehicle and below you select the side which must detect the vehicle, vehicle detected by BLUEFOR for example.
In the onActivation line again you type what shall happen then.

Another option is to use the knowsAbout command. Again you make a trigger, size doesn't matter. In the condition line you type:
player knowsAbout target > 1
player is the player (of course), you can use the name you have given to a unit too. target is the name of the vehicle that must be detected.
In the onActivation line you type what shall happen then.

Hope that helps :)

Sorry about posting this here, but I believe it has to do with Rodders1974 question.

1) How do I set the knows about for an entire side (eg: West or East)? I want the trigger to be activated when anyone from a particular side (OPFOR, INDEPENDENT etc) (in the trigger area) knows about my presence. I tried the following, but it is set for enemy, not the side I wish:

Enemy knowsAbout player > 3

2) What does this 0 to 4 knowsabout scale actually means? BI forum only have some info about "magic numbers" and I can deduct that 0 means that the "enemy" knows less the "player", but what about setting it to three, two etc?

3) How do I make a trigger activate a radio channel? I want a "unit" to use the radio channel, but I was unable to find any scrip like "activate radio channel bravo" (probably because it is not particularly useful)?

Thanks!

I'm making an "I am Legend" type Mission with yomies, I have it to they spawn at night and stop at a certain period in the day, However I'm a little bit stuck.

I made a hint for when the zombies come out it says "The Infected are coming out, get to a safe place and fast" and it activates at 0 or greater. I also have a trigger that activates at 4 or greater it says "The sun is rising and the infected have gone back to hide, you have a few hours to build protection"

Is there a way to make my first trigger only go off during a certain persiod not "0 'or greater' " but just 0, so that way at 10 o' clock in the morning it doesn't say " the infected are coming blah blah blah?"

NO MATTER WHAT SPECIAL FORCES GROUP, S.A.S, Marine Force Recon, U.S. Delta, U.S. Rangers, the guy with a full blown beard and mustache that looks like a crazy old guy with a rifle is ALWAYS the most Bad Ass. Period.

hi all!
I used this topic (trigger help) because I don't like to fill the game with repeated topics so the question is:

1-Is it possible to put in the condition box a especific unit/player of the game that activates it?How can I do it? Ex:When soldier1, and only soldier1 enters in the trigger area and activates it.

"From This Day To
The Ending Of The World
We In It Shall Be Remembered

We Few, We
BAND OF BROTHERS
For The Today That
Sheds His Blood With Me
Shall Be My Brother"

You can do that by grouping (F2) the trigger with the unit which shall activate it. The activation then changes to "vehicle".
