Just a matter of order!
I've installed Arma2
- do I patch it up to 1.1 and then install OA, or the other way round or does it not matter?

Thanks

Depends a bit which version you have, Steam or did you download it elsewhere?

Not steam and Arma 2 is 1.1080665
I bought it from Gamersgate as a CO bundle with Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead.

I presume that OA needs patching to v 1.60

I hope to add Invasion 1944 once this is sorted - I hope that will not prevent me going on MP servers???

Sorry about all the questions !

Thanks

Doc

Ok, you will have to excuse me a bit cause I have not played/started Arma 2 in almost a year but if I recall correct this is the right way to install.

- install Arma 2
- install Arma 2: OA
- install Arma 2: CO / OA / Reinforcements Patch 1.62

The patch will update:
* ARMA 2 1.05 to 1.11. (note: ARMA 2 version 1.00-1.04 must first use patch 1.0x to 1.05)
* ARMA 2 BAF 1.00 to 1.03 if necessary.
* ARMA 2 PMC 1.00 to 1.02 if necessary.
* BattlEye within ARMA 2, ARMA 2: OA, ARMA 2: RFT to actual revision

Since you wrote your Arma 2 is 1.10 this patch should be all you need.

Added 1 minute later:

Many thanks - I will report back - the downloads are taking about 6 hours each - I need to do for PC and laptop and even by wireless router it takes longer to transfer from PC to laptop lol! So 4x6 hours and patches hmm! I'll let you know a.s.a.p. I've already updated Arma 2 to 1.11 - I suppose I'll have to get rid of that as well - still, looks an amazing game with loads of potential so it will be well worth it.

I did loads of scripting for IL2 - producing a Battle of Britain mission that was always completely different everytime it was run - and different in a major way! I hope to do the same for Arma 2 :)

Thanks

I do not think it will be a problem if your Arma 2 is already at 1.11. The patcher will just check version and if the game version is already up to date skip that particular process.
But yeah, let us know if it all worked out.

All done on my laptop! I used the OA patch 1.60 and it automatically upgraded Arma 2 to 1.11 as well!

Thanks for all of your help, now to add 1944 and then start to write randomising programmes and play them without knowing what is going to come up, I hope :)

Cheers
