log = output in some serverfile for administrators etc.. TYhis is not used anymore by the gameengine so i don’t see why you would like that. It is possible to name a vehicle and do a check trigger making a popup or other action !if alive vehicle do ...

What have you tried already, what is the goal and where have you looked for info on how to do it by yourself?

It is a script for a DayZ server, where it is forbidden to destroy other peoples vehicles and such a script would do things a lot easier to track who did it.
When you kill somebody it's displayed in the chat, wouldn't it be possible to make a script wich detects who shot a vehicle when it got destroyed, same as the way it's detected when a person gets killed?
Does every vehicle have an ID in the database, same as every person? Then the script could post a line in the server log with the ID of the vehicle and the ID of the player who destroyed it.

So far my thoughts... :D
