Not entirely sure where to put this, so to admins/mods, feel free to move this topic to a more appropriate forum.

Anyways, a few people have been tracking me down and requesting me to release the ArmA1 OPX MLODs, now I've been kind of reluctant to do this because I've always felt they were subpar quality compared to other content and especially now that they're 6-7 years old, but I figured what the hell, they've just been sitting here on my HD for years doing nothing, so here goes.

This is most of the OPX content, a few things have been removed for various reasons, but there a lot of content for people to improve on these models if they feel like it.
I highly encourage people to enhance the quality of these p3ds beyond what I was capable of at the time.

Also, there are (almost) no source textures present due to my current internet connection being very slow, so you'll have to work with the UV maps and .paa files already released.

If you have any further questions, just ask in this thread.

Hi Opteryx!

Good to see you around after all this time! Hope alls well with you!

Very generous of you to release these mlods! They've seen a lot of usage over the years, despite one or two niggling flaws that have become apparent over time, but of course people have generally followed the "rules" and left them untouched, aside from microtweaks like "required version" in the configs to get them working with subsequent Arma versions as they've emerged...

There's a few fairly talented "buildings guys" around the community at the moment, so I think it's likely that, now the mlods and, more importantly, that all-important Permission has been granted, we'll see some decent quality "OPX Buildings Upgrades" in the near future...

While I have your attention, I'd just like to personally add my general thanks for all the sources, guides, and informative posts you did during your terrainmaking years... I returned to terrainmaking just as Arma 2 arrived, having not modded a thing since OFP and was hugely intimidated by the vast differences between "then" and the "now" when it came to terrain structure, and some serious reading of Arma 1-era Opteryx posts taught me a great deal in a very short period of time, so - Thanks for all of that!!!

Cheers, and take care mate!
