I have successfully made a helmet in blender, then converted it to a p3d, https://www.dropbox.com/s/egat8fvv1jdbme2/bombhelmet.p3d

and it for some reason wont actually appear on the character but I can select in the V.A.S. any ideas?

Did you create the config and pack it into a .pbo?

yes config'd it textured it made it a pbo, ive done this with a weapon before but never with items :/

post you config?
did you also make a model.cfg?
did you check your arma.rpt for errors?

I didnt need to make one for my gun so, i assumed it didnt for this, so how would I go about making one for this helmet, ill send over the zipped file:

new development on the situation: http://gyazo.com/7aef4c77bb795195703ec42657b026f9 no matter where I place the object in oxygen it wont go any higher
