so i have a model, config(wip), textures and sounds for my five-seven mod.
the only problem is i don't know how to make the "eye" camera viewpoint for iron sights and red dot sights.
ive looked in the FAQ and cant find anything on it, can someone tell me how to add it or what it is?
i use blender and the blender toolbox for arma, and occasionally use o2 editor.

Isnt there a animation specified in the fire modes? Most of the time a weapon inherits its abilities from another in the config chain like a m4 or m240. Look here fore more information on cfgweapons: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/CfgWeapons_Config_Reference

thanks i already looked at that but i didn't notice the fact that it says
memoryPointCamera="eye"
think ive figured it out now, a proxy or something but thanks.
EDIT: OK turns out that didn't help, i need to know HOW TO MAKE the eye memory point not a config,i have a config its just the memory point for looking down iron sights that's my problem.

Load your stuff in O2, go to the 'Memory' LOD and then... press the 'ins' key. Et voila, there's your memory point.
If you don't have the memory LOD yet, right click into the 'Lods' panel/window and select 'New'. Then rightclick on the new LOD you just created, select properties and there change it to 'Memory'.
