Conquer/Control/Collapse

by
Panicsferd

Description:
Conquer/Control/Collapse:
Summary: Unknown forces have invaded chernarus, they have conquered all in their path. Unknown forces now have total control over chernarus, the result was US forces on chernarus were forced to leave chernarus. After regrouping at the NATO HQ on stratis the NATO forces then come up with a plan to take the fight to the unknown forces homeland to collapse their regime and end the war.

This is part 1 and part 2 of a three part campaign and in part 1 there is a total of 8 missions and a total of 12 missions in part 2.

Mission content:
  • Conquer - Part 1
Summary: Follow the story of Sgt. Andrew Jackson, a US marine stationed on Chernarus during the invasion of Chernarus.

  • Control - Part 2
Summary: Continues from Part 1 - Control. Follow the stories of Lt. Daniel Williams stationed on Stratis, and Sgt. David Anderson stationed on Takistan.

  • Collapse - Part 3
Summary: Continues from Part 2 - Control. Follow the story of Lt. Williams on a NATO mission to collapse the CSAT regime.

  • Installation:
Extract the .pbo file(s) to your Steam/SteamApps/common/ArmA 3/Campaigns folder.

    Notes:
Arma 3 Custom Campaign. This is a WIP progress, and so far of this three part campaign the first two parts Conquer/Control are done and between the both there is a total of 20 missions.

    Changelog:
    Conquer v1.13
  • Campaign is 100% complete, all that is left to do is bug fixing.
  • increase trigger radius on Chernogorsk Crossing, so it will be more likely to be triggered.
  • Add map markers to display the aproximate location of the AA you need to destroy
  • In Acceptable Losses, I changed it up so you are no longer a passenger in the humvee and you will be the driver.
  • in Acceptable Losses, I have fixed it so the Colonel has the correct name (before it was a random name)
  • in Last Stand, I have also fixed it so that both the Colonel and the Intro Sargeat has the correct names.
  • In Last Stand, I fixed it so the helicopter should land now.
  • In Last Stand, I added another rifle squad so that the US forces were not overun and killed off too soon.

  • Control v1.0
  • Campaign is 100% complete, all that is left to do is bug fixing.

  • Collapse v1.0
  • Campaign is 100% complete, all that is left to do is bug fixing.

  • Optional Addons:
(These are mods that add tweaks to the ai to make them more realistic. These are optional, but if you want the best experience then you should download these.)
    - bCombat infantry AI Mod
    - ASR Ai

    Due to Feedback:
I am no longer going to be using the East Vs West addon for my mission. From feedback that I have received on steam workshop that the East vs West addon made it look more like a cold war campaign, that was not my intended idea. This campaign is suppose to be like 5-10 years after the ending of arma 3's campaign.

Instead of using East vs West I will be using N-Bs U.S.M.C project for all the us forces stationed on chernarus and for the cdf forces on chernarus I will be using Kaelis's South Zagorian Army Mod. Now with these new addons instead of the old East vs West it should now portray the correct timeline and so when people play it they will be more likely to think it is in the future instead of the past.

I hope you guys enjoy this massive change, I had to rework all of the current missions that are completed so far. It will take me time to convert the old missions to use the new addons. As of now the three missions above that are completed with East vs West have been converted to using both N-Bs USMC and Kaelis SZ.

You can download the three mission campaign file below:

The story behind the campaign seems interesting. Looking for an opportunity to give this a shot!

edit: Btw regarding the timeline of the conflict, just looking at the pics I dont think its feasible to set it at 5-10 years after the ending of Arma 3's campaign just by looking at the equipments used. Humvees and Hueys in 2045? I dont think so. A more suiting timeline would be in between the end of A2OA's campaign and the start of A3 campaign, somewhere around 2020 or so. CSAT roll through Chernarus before reaching Altis which then A3's campaign starts.

There's a missing required mod from your list: HAFM - ArmA 2 HMMWVs import (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=24573).

Thanks, added to the requirements until the author confirms it was missing or he updates the mission to remove this dependency

I love what your doing with our mod in this campaign; but you might want to add RH_M4 and the RQ-11B mod as they're required now with the NBUSMC mod

I guess I will have to do that then, but I first didn't add RH_M4 and RQ-11B since I figured when I would link to the NBUSMC mod they will see what is required to run that mod. Also is the RQ-11B now required, since I remember seeing that it was optional on armaholic.

First let me thank you for this campaign.
I think that you must add at the requirements the jsrs sound mod because as some people in this forum have discovered that the game freezes when you try to start part 2 so did i.

What i did was to unpack the pbo. and put the missions folders to the missions folder for the editor. When i tried to play them in the editor an error message came up that downloadable content had been deleted. The error pointed at jsrs.2 something. So i loaded the sound mod and for now at least the campaign part2 seems to run ok.Also i couldn't find the AAs too at part 1.

    Hi there!

I'm using the following addons / packs with the Conquer-Control-Collapse series & all the three just seem to freeze & the game stops responding. Pls advise.

Also, I would love play the above with JSRS3 DragonFyre, or even JSRS2.2, as the sounds seem a lot more realistic, esp with DragonFyre. Kindly help.
