Hey malcom, thanks for the compliments, i was amazed at how many female arma players, like RoseLTyler Above, there were, and i'm happy that people will appreciate the effort put into it.

My mod doesn't add the body models just yet, this is a heads only module for now, but once the heads are good and done, bodies get worked on and perhaps a port of arma 2 voices.

This is great to hear, as I thought it's very promising. You deserve these compliments as your effort is great indeed. The faces are just yet amazing and I can imagine how they would be with animations too !! I like them very much :)

Just a couple of impressions I would like to tell you after testing it:
- I just noticed the persian head is too similar to the caucasic one, with too few details to be considered persian (it somehow seemed to me more like an hispanic one, but still too poor of characteristics to be hispanic). It also have very red lips like she's using lipstick :P IMO, depending on what you would like it to be (persian or hispanic variant), you should work on it a little bit more. For a persian one I would make her eyes more different from the caucasic one and her hair more dark (Google can help a lot here for examples^^)
- The last impression is about the hairs. Somehow I disliked those 2 versions (One for helmet and the other one for no helmet and some caps). Also because the versions for helmets make the faces...ugly. My advice is to change the hair styles (without ponytail) so there will be only one head to use all helmets and caps, maybe adding some curls to leave the hairs more "feminine"...this is just an advice ofc.

I did worry about the Persian one if i'm honest, she was based off of a friend from Bangladesh, but like you say, i think she's too caucasian in her facial structure, i'll probably change her texture and use her as a greek head and add two new persian heads in which look more "persian" so to speak

Zeealex : aye, I hear you on the hair, it's an absolute nightmare to get looking right,not sure what you mean by ugly in this context so i'll step over it until clarification is given. I like the idea of just having one head for all, it does make sense, i'll look into this further for the next build.

Saying ugly I meant it gets not proportioned...it's like the head just get stretched to fit the helmet (which is placed also too high, IMO. It should be more close to the eyebrows like in the other version with ponytail) losing her natural rounded form and becoming flat, especially on the back of the neck.

Zeealex : while testing you didn't have any error messages popping up or anything? just making sure everything packed okay.

Just an error as I selected for the first time one of the heads. This error was:

Cannot load material file
femal3-heads-only\data\face_wht\oakes.rvmat.

I know the error regards oakes head, but it's the same if I select any of the heads. It pops up only one time, for the first head selected. Except this everything works fine.

right, just checking that error out, i just started getting it and realized my P: drive wasn't mapped so i'll look into that, it's possible there's a filepath error in my config or in the RVMAT.

as for proportions, yeah, i get you now, it's really annoying trying to get it dead on because the headgear friendly versions are different models the proportions don't always turn out right in the export. I have to match up the heads to the default eye level to work with glasses, which means sometimes helmets can appear too high, i'll be fixing proportions for the next module, Mason's headgear model always bugged me.

hey, thanks! i'm glad you're seeing improvements, I try to make as many as possible in every release, alas, some slip through, but I digress.
It's fine on the development front, :) you've made suggestions, helped me out when I encountered an RVMAT error, helped people in the comments to get the heads working on other body models, which was a big help in itself! :)

The next full release will have at least one body, I hope, it's only a UVW issue that needs solving and proportions maybe, too.

Any chance to meet you in-game using this mod ? I would be so curious to see you using this mod, as well to know which other uniform mods (IF you use other uniform mods) you use with it !!
And it would be an honor to meet one of my favourite modder out there ;P

add me on steam and we'll take it from there I suppose. I use the Dev Build my mod folder setup is different due to the sheer amount of mods I use. They don't fit on the modline individually so I've set them up in order of categories :P but I don't think that affects multiplayer somehow, the engine looks for config files.


And I'm not the most brilliant player in the world, my forte is more tactics and maneuver based advisory roles, and long range shooting, I'm good at that-ish.

It's an honour to be called someone's favourite modder :3
