I have put together Virutal ammo box and AIS injury in the mission together also in the description.ext.

But it wont work together. Either one of them works or the other and not both.

First when I put them together it crashed my game becouze I have in description.ext 2 same classes called CfgFunctions for VAS and for AIS. So I decided to just change the class name for example I will leave CfgFunctions for AIS and for VAS i will change it from CfgFunctions to CfgFunctionsVAS. And my mission loads fine but VAS doesn't work. I do the opposite for AIS change the class name and leave VAS but still my VAS doesn't work. I replace the order who comes on the top and who on bottom in description.ext for example I have it now AIS is first then VAS and AIS works VAS does not. If I put VAS first and AIS second, VAS works and AIS don't.

Also in game it says when I try to use Virutal ammo box that VAS was never called trough description.ext

this is my description.ext:
respawn = 3;
respawndelay = 10;
disabledAI=0;
joinUnassigned = 0;
enableDebugConsole = 1;
allowFunctionsLog = 1;

//--------------------------------------------------------------
//------------------------AIS INJURY----------------------------
//--------------------------------------------------------------
class RscTitles {
	#include "ais_injury\dialogs\rscTitlesAIS.hpp"
};
class CfgFunctions {
	#include "ais_injury\cfgFunctionsAIS.hpp"
};
//--------------------------------------------------------------

#include "VAS\menu.hpp"

class CfgFunctionsVAS
{
	#include "VAS\cfgfunctions.hpp"
};

So how do I make these two work together ??? *SCRATCH*

At the end of your class CfgFunctions file which would be cfgFunctionsAIS.hpp file

Open hpp with notepad if on windows 7

At the end lines of that hpp add this type of text

};
};
// VAS Implement //
#include "VAS\cfgfunctions.hpp"
///////////////////
};

Save as all file type .hpp file and not .txt text file.
If using window Word you can just hit save .hpp

This will act like a grocery list for the .hpp files reading one then getting down to the bottom and including the vas reading that one next in it's laundry list of instructions. Seems that whenever I try putting includes all in a bunch from various script folders, arma seems to not like that and jams up the script. Not an expert, this technique seems to work for me most of the time. Hope it helps.

I didn't understand you quite well. So do I go to my AIS injury folder and then open whit my notepad cfgFunctionsAIS.hpp file and just put this code on the bottom ?

Added 13 minutes later:

I save it whit extension .hpp and selected the option All Files.

And now all my hpp files are text documents becouze I opened 1 whit notepad.

wtf now how to fix this and return it to hpp

you can open a .hpp file with notepad. don't select it as default program to open .hpp files. Just open with notepad or word. if using notepad, save as All files, write the file name and add .hpp at the end of file name so it will save it as .hpp file and not txt file .

in your description file remove:

class CfgFunctionsVAS
{
#include "VAS\cfgfunctions.hpp"
};

inside your ais_injury folder open cfgFunctionsAIS.hpp with notepad

at the end of file add after the two };
// VAS Implement //
#include "VAS\cfgfunctions.hpp"
///////////////////
};
save file as save all
save file as cfgFunctionsAIS.hpp
make sure to add .hpp after file name
save

-hope this helps you
the notepad shouldn't of converted all your hpp files to all text unless you told it to default save all or something. In that case you might have to open each hpp and resave as all and .hpp to make sure they are read as hpp format

it says error: cfgFunctions.hpp not found

can I just run it on notepad++ I really dont know how to remove notepad from default programs now

Added 1 hour 31 minutes later:

okay so I changed my description into this:
#include "VAS\menu.hpp"
//--------------------------------------------------------------
//------------------------AIS INJURY----------------------------
//--------------------------------------------------------------
class RscTitles {
#include "ais_injury\dialogs\rscTitlesAIS.hpp"
};
//--------------------------------------------------------------
class CfgFunctions
{
#include "VAS\cfgfunctions.hpp"
#include "ais_injury\cfgFunctionsAIS.hpp"

};

and both work now but VAS menu displays all weapons and functions but no words, letters on the buttons so I don't know which button does what :/

and even though all my .hpp files have text document icon they still work

Make sure to place the stringtable.xml file into your mission folder. Then the buttons should display.

Don't worry about how to remove notepad from default programs; right click on a file open with, choose default program and uncheck the box that says: Always use this selected program to open this kind of file select ok

please make sure to double check your documentation provided by any author of a mod and if you are still having issues with getting it to work, please contact the authors.
