Hi guys,

I am new here so let's kick of with a short introduction. My name is JaPPa and I'm new in ArmA 3. I love to make missions, nweby style that is, and I would love to start playing co-op mission and get active for ArmA 3 in general.

My problem is this: When I add a mod to my ArmA 3 folder like @mod_name it does not load in ArmA 3. But when I copy the mod files to the default add-on folder in ArmA 3 it does work. Is there something I'm missing or does it not work this way with the beta?

Thanks for reply already guys!

JaPPa

Once you have placed your @folders in your directory. Try loading the game and clicking on configure tab on the left then expansions, selected the addons you want to load by clicking on them so a green tick is placed in the circle icon then click ok and then restart the game. took me a while to notice this i kept trying to start them using the command bar on the startup icon.

Thats the problem, they do not show up in the the expansions options-menu. But when I add them in the default add-on folder they do show up.

Do you also create the addons folder inside your @mymod folder?

Yes I did. Most mods come prearranged. Just to be clear, it does not work at all, with all mods. It's not a big dealt copy the files in de default add ons folder but it isn't that clean. And I don't know where the put the config files then.. if I needed them.

If you're launching addons from another path then your Arma install folder, you need to include the full path to the @ folder.
