Hey guys, not sure if I'm posting in the correct area so I apologise if it is in the wrong area, and also I apologise I'm a noob when it comes to running servers and when it comes to explaining things, please try and keep it simple for me.

So when I am running the server I will run it through the Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead Multiplayer and click "host new session" and set it up that way. Just to give a bit of context, the server is for recruitment and training for my clan,*knip*, which has been recently formed and I need help with the character selection area.

Ok my first question for the server is, how do I name each slot, for example I want some of the character slots to be called "Recruit" and then for specific characters be clan members names.

And another question is how can I order it so that like members who have their own character are at the top and then character slots for the "Recruits" will be slightly separate and be in order below the member slots.

If someone can help me ASAP it will be appreciated greatly. Thanks

Two very simple questions you would have most lightly answered if you spend more than 30min in the Arma mission editor yourself. Just try to add a few slots and name the players whatever you like and you have your wish?
Maybe understanding the difference between a server and a misssion question would also help?

In the unit's description field you can customize the slot names - if you don't put anything there it uses the default BIS name for the unit ie: Soldier LAT

For the order in which they appear - the first unit you place will be at the top so just put down the playable units in the order you want them to appear in the lobby screen.

AFAIK you cannot space out the grouping of units on the lobby screen unless they are actually separate groups in the editor.

Bless you my son.
