Similar to my issue with Alive mod, I made some missions in MCC mod but cant seem to save the game "progress" even in regular difficulty and with unlimited saves enabled. Any advice?

I mean I am able to save the position of units on the field but not the progress.

I don't know what are you trying to do with Alive or MCC (I saw the previous thread too), and I don't know why you need to save the progress rather than the mission, but I'm going to recommend you something else that you another tool can do anything you want, just with more hardwork and testing, rather than placing things like legos. Have fun!

Sometimes I like to think as I started the whole "earplugs" thing.

W0lle: The only advice I can give you is: Do not try to understand BI. You will not succeed and it only makes your brain go boom. I would even go so far and say that not even they understand their own actions :-D.

I am just trying to have a full blown war on Altis. So naturally I want to save in between plus I got a job to take care of. The "tool" which you are trying to refer is the in-built editor which imho is very very very limited to fulfil your ambitions.

For ALiVE have you tried running it in MP and in your init.sqf put:

enableSaving [true,false];

(1st param is to enable saving, 2nd is for autosave)

Be advised that saving with ALiVE can cause out of memory errors on large missions. Your other option is to run a dedicated server and connect to the ALiVE War Room which saves everything for you. See the ALiVE wiki for more info:

Bless you my son.
