Hello. i have a problem with radio transmissions. I was reading this topic:
http://www.armaholic.com/forums.php?m=posts&q=13194

and still not working. i missed something. I don't know why i can't assign every radio (alpha,bravo... to each team (Alpha,bravo...) or Unit if possible (Grenadier,Marksman....) to make the game more realistic with some radio soldier (every soldier with customized functions <Transport>, <Air reconn> ....
Can anyone help me? .I'm really dizzy and lost.

Be a little more specific. By default all units in Arma have a radio i think. You could simply remove an item from their inventory via the unit init field. Then this unit will no longer have a radio. Not sure why you would want to do this since in the field i think every soldier has a (short range) radio on him /her at all time.

Thank you for answering. My goal is to give each soldier a radio function.
Ex:
* Soldier Grenadier in team bravo = Radio with Transport option only.
* Soldier Medic in Echo team = Radio with Air Recon option only.
* Team Leader in Charlie team = Radio with Transport + Artillery barrage...
....

I'm trying but everyone get the same radio options at time. I'm using SeCOps module aswell.

you could just create a chat channel for each and name them. Then when people switch to those channels only others in that channel will hear them. Also this games vanilla radio system is not deep at all, hell the radio item is just window dressing I think, it doesn't seem to do anything if I don't have it.

I think got it.
1. * Trigger (Alpha Radio)
* SecOp Manager synchronized for Solider Grenadier Alpha (soldier called Alpha_2).
* In Trigger: On Act: [["transport"], player] call BIS_SOM_addSupportRequestFunc;
* In Trigger: Condition: this && (player == Alpha_2);
Grenadier at Alpha team got Radio for Transport.



2. * Trigger (Bravo Radio)
* SecOp Manager synchronized for Solider AT specialist (soldier called Bravo_5).
* In Trigger: On Act: [["transport", "aerial_reconnaissance"], player] call BIS_SOM_addSupportRequestFunc;
* In Trigger: Condition: this && (player == Bravo_5);
AT Specialist in Team Bravo got Radio for Transport and Air Recon.

and so...
Now i need how to make a radio message to spawn a vehicle or item, or maybe a MQ9 for Air recon to use at an UAV terminal.

Added 42 minutes later:

Problem with radio:
* Is it possible Team leader is the only who can use radio communications for transport, aerial recon and other?. I'm trying to assign radio to a private and he can't use.

Added 1 hour 48 minutes later:

Problem:
* Radios aren't working on a dedicated server.
