First off: This is my first time using the ArmaHolic Forums so if this is in the wrong place, then forgive me.
Alright, a while ago I decided to make retextures for the Blufor outfits, and have successfully done that via photoshop. Now that I have a retextured PSD file, I want to know how to turn that into an actual thing that I can use in-game. All the guides I saw before were too unclear for me, so any simple help that tells me how to convert that PSD into a usable file would be welcome. (note: I have no experience whatsoever in scripting and whatnot, so keep it simple...please)

If you're asking help on just the conversion part, here is exactly what you can do, it's pretty simple.
  1. Make sure the image is 2048x2048.
  2. Using your photoshop, save the image as a 1 layered jpg or png (%100 rendered or 32-bit quality).
  3. Open the image with ImageToPAA.exe file. Usually this is part of a bigger texture/ imaging tool system, but this should do the trick for you now.
Download for ImageToPAA.exe (Will remove it soon as you download it):

About using that texture in addons or missions, sorry but I will not be able to help. I can help you retexture vehicles by walking you through the whole thing though. Problem is uniforms are more complicated (at least for me) since they're also items, and they have more details and stuff, so good luck!

Sometimes I like to think as I started the whole "earplugs" thing.

W0lle: The only advice I can give you is: Do not try to understand BI. You will not succeed and it only makes your brain go boom. I would even go so far and say that not even they understand their own actions :-D.
