Dev, im sorry to say this, but you are trolling. Its not my fault that you spend hours and hours modding arma. thats your fault. i stated the need of readiness for criticism before. that "constructive" criticism you mention was delivered by me. message was clear: "turn off 99 percent of that bullshit (all besides AI scripts) and it will be a winner". If you dont like it, dont read my posts or jump off a bridge. easy.

now to SLX: the problem of the day is turning off that retarded "camera up on hit" thing. you know, when sb gets hit by a bullet, the camera goes way up. anyone capable of killing this bug gets a cookie. supplies limited.

edit: even the ArmA function for moving the cursor/camera would be apperciated.not cookieworth though.

@Corrupt: u still don't get it. What u call "constructive" criticism loses all his value when u say things like u say. I can say "you are wrong with what u say" or "you are nothing but a sucker who doesn't know what you are talking about".

I'm sorry but i hope this time u see the difference. U can say all u want about the mod and features but u have to be respectful. I hope u learn to express yourself using the right words.

If you would have said: i think that 99% of the features aren't needed and you should focus on X and Y features. With this, this mod will be a winner., then all this discussion wouldn't have taken place.

And in case u don't read my previous post or u jumped off a bridge (as u suggest):

This discussion is over. Use PM or start another topic about "Modding criticism" or whatever.
All post not talking about the mod or with personal references will be deleted without previous warning.

Check what corrupt said about this:
corrupt : for everyone tryin to get the crosshair working again:
removing of certain .pbo files from /@SLX/Addons will bring back crosshair.
i left only slx_gl3.pbo,slx_ai_dispersion.pbo,slx_cloud.pbo,slx_findcover.pbo,slx_mic,slx_mod.pbo;

yeah, this thread is on acid. but nevertheless..., guide to enable crosshairs is on the first page. its three easy steps. this pig-puke i wrote about deleting the pbo's was a provisory solution.

edit: you may have to search a little, it may be a bit lost among the flame sauce that me and my pals are generating here.

Yes my fault, wrong quote:

corrupt : 1. unpbo slx_modweapons_c.pbo
2. open the config.cpp and change local cursorAim variables for each weapon type to whatever crosshair you like.i myself changed it to the T,which is a value "\ca\Weapons\Data\w_weapon_T".
3. pack to .pbo
4. play till you drop.

yeah, there we go ... the "cursor" variable is the inner part of the crosshair (reflecting the recoil) while the "cursorAim" is the steady part.

cookies still available for those who can help with that annoying "up goes the aim" animation/sequence when you hit someone.

I have a small curiosity question. In the SLX Mod. what makes the AI drop thir weapons and put their hands on their heads. i think its quite amazing .Also i notice that I was the last man in my squad and I became "Handicapped" from a couple shots to the chest and while laying on the ground bleeding, an insurgent comes up to me and revives me and i get up and put my hand on my head and the insurgent keeps his gun pointed at you. I think thats just soo cool .Any idea why they do this? p.s. I love it!

yeah cus i remember it was me and and GROM soldier and he got shot up and since there was onl two of us he surrendered. it was cool!
