Hi there guys Morpho here looking for someone with some knowledge on how to successfully get ACRE2 to work on an Arma 3 dedicated server.

I have both the @acre2 folder within my arma 3 directory as well as on my server directory and also have the plugins within the necessary folders of Teamspeak 3 version 3.016

However, when me and a friend join a co-op mission and enable Acre on Teamspeak through the plugins section and go back in game, we get the "Acre Connected" in the top right of the screen and are both on channel 1 of our "AN/PRC - 343"

but when we transmit to each other it sounds like my friend has a voice changer enabled, the voices are really deep and we get a "robotic-like" fuzz that makes it impossible to communicate with each other.

In my server.cfg my vonquality is set to "8" so i doubt it could be that

anyone have any advice or tips??

First assumption: ACRE works? You can hear the other guy, have 3D positional audio, and your radio works?
Beyond this point you are looking at ACRE functionality. Meaning that the mod has made long distance conversations over the radio (without amplifier / long range antenna) sound like "cracking sound" mixed with your voice. This is done to simulate real short distance combat radios?

I assume so since i can hear my friend its just that the audio quality is terrible and its like im talking to him on the other side of Altis the radio quality is that bad.

But even when im like side by side with my friend we still get the same effect.

Is there anything im missing out on to combat this and get that clean, crisp radio signal?

Also i have "voice activation" within my TS3 server, would changing to a PTT key resolve this problem??
