I am starting a multiplayer project and i need to make custom items such as scorch inventory items. they dont need to do anything they just need a inventory icon and some text.

maybe a model also but not that important right now.

i have tried to edit other mods like scorch inventory items but that didnt work.

i copied this and editted it a little bit now it isnt working and before it was working but there was no picture and no quantity number right of the inventory item

in the pbo i also have a folder named "images" and inside that i have a stone.paa with a picture of a stone

i hope that someone can help me or give me a example that i easily can edit.

Thank you

Mate, Look at section 2.16 of this. I'd suggest you don't do that or an admin might roast you.

Secondly,
USE CODE TAGS WHEN INSERTING CODE
Other than that, You need to clarify a little more before anyone can help you.

EDIT:
Try this
//To be placed in CfgWeapons
class ItemCore; //External class
class InventoryItem_Base_F; //External class
class Test_Item : ItemCore {
  scope = 2; /// scope needs to be 2 to have a visible class
  displayName = "Test Thing"; /// how would the stuff be displayed in inventory and on ground
  picture = "asdf\Pictures\testthing.paa"; /// path to your picture
class ItemInfo: InventoryItem_Base_F;
{
	mass = 20; /// combined weight and volume of the cap, this equals to single magazine
	allowedSlots[] = {BACKPACK_SLOT, VEST_SLOT};	/// this cap is so small and flexible that it fits everywhere
	modelSides[] = {6}; /// available for all sides
};
};
