Right, so I've got this issue - when ever the server reaches more than approximately 30 players I get kicked off, it doesn't give any reason other than "You were kicked off the game" with a depressing "Ok" box on the bottom, my ping is fine as i usually play on European servers given my location.. yeah that means it's almost never over 50 so that is most likely not the problem.

The thing is that the problem isn't exclusive to any one game type, since January it's been happening all over the board - vanilla, battle royale, wasteland, Altis life, private operations with my community and so on, I've noticed that it never happens when the player count is low, hell I can easily play without a risk of getting kicked on US and Australian servers when there's only a handful of people on but the second the player count gets high(er) I get kicked, pretty sure that's the case with all the other people who have posted this issue as well, the average amount of players I get kicked at is 30 but it's happened with 10 and 50 players as well so it's fairly random.

I've been playing and modding the ArmA series long enough to know how the mod system works so I'm a hundred percent sure that the problem is not related to the game and the server having conflicting files or anything along those lines.

What I've tried so far: flushing my DNS, getting a new router, reinstalling ArmA 3, Verifying the game cache on steam, reinstalling BattlEye, deleting the Addons folder in the Arma 3 directory and then verifying the game cache again (AKA letting steam fix it), closing ALL background programs besides steam, I've even ran hundreds of virus scans.. So far, no luck. And before you ask - yes, the game is up to date.

Any ideas?

My theory - it MIGHT have something to do with my aging hardware (Sony Vaio VPC-EB4X1E, 4 years old, served me well) but I can't prove that before I upgrade to a Lenovo Y50-70 later this month (I move around too often to invest in a desktop PC)

My 2nd theory - conflicting software, I've got a full format due anyways, too much junk. Will update if it changes anything.

Current specs:

Processor: Intel Core i5 480M 2.66ghz (2.90ghz with Intel Turbo Boost active)
Graphics Adapter: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1024 MB
Hard Drive: 500gb 5400RPM
RAM: 4gb DDR3 1066MHz
Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro via an USB port (motherboard's audio chip got fried last summer)

If you're wondering how this thing even manages to run ArmA 3, let alone at almost 30fps, you're as surprised as I am, especially given that it SOMEHOW even handles Dying Light (it really shouldn't, look at the requirements)

performed a factory reset on my laptop and reinstalled arma.. the problem still persists but doesn't happen that often anymore so i've reached to a conclusion - the 2.67GHz i5 processor simply can't keep up, earlier it happened all the time because of the amount of programs running in the background and the computer being full of junk.

Thank you for your feeback.
Personally, I'm experiencing Steam interface trying to download something despite the "download while in gameplay" unchecked. It's weird. Steam interface pause/start game as it try "in queue" /"starting" flickering to download i don't know what from workshop.
Any idea to reinstall steam without messing Arma?
