Well,
we noticed that bullet impacts are only client side for us after ~230m on our dedicated Nitrado server.
For troubleshooting a buddy hosted a home-build dedicated (not local host) and we both could see each others impacts at any range.
So I am quite sure this is a server related setting, however I am at a loss ass to how and where to fix this problem, it annoys us and makes any sniper/spotter related stuff useless.
Google didn't bring anything up, so I try it here.

Please, for everything that is holy... can anyone help?
I'm pulling my hair out here. -.-

It might be the minimum error to send since AFAIK that setting effects how stuff looks when they're far. You can try lowering it's value.

Sometimes I like to think as I started the whole "earplugs" thing.

W0lle: The only advice I can give you is: Do not try to understand BI. You will not succeed and it only makes your brain go boom. I would even go so far and say that not even they understand their own actions :-D.

Thank you for your answer - can you point out where exactly I find that value?
I don't remember ever seeing it.

Thanks!

Added 18 hours 40 minutes later:

Found the value, was already as low as it can be it seems.
No joy... :/

Those who run dedicated servers - can you share your experience please?
Can you observe synchronized bullet impacts further out?
If you can, could you post the according/relevant server configs?

The problem was solved.
Apparently, what solved it was pasting a users .cfg into the servers basic.cfg to set some graphics settings straight.
We now see hits no matter the distance.
