No, it was not sorted :)
He did credit them in the readme after the first release but the actual authors did never allow him to port it to Arma.
Someone of the FS community contacted me about it telling me it was all stolen work and should be removed which we did (all ported models). And I doubt we ever will host something again from him since it seems he doesn't really care about how things work.

Now, back to the USEC discussion please ;)

Its there cause I choose to keep the page available when I found out (again) it was ported to Arma without permissions. The first time we removed it and did get lot of requests about it.......so now people know the download has been disabled since there is no download link.
I also saw today I did not add a message to the page so I did that now :)

Now please return to discuss the topic. If you have any further questions feel free to use a PM ;)

saw several youtube ac130 videos recently

but still no good actual ac130 model shown. i heard rksl stopped ac130 production too.
thus i wonder if you're planning creating only c130 or ac130 too ? is there any progress with your work ?

Truly awesome mate, it looks stunning :)
Only remark I could make is that you have added some dirt to the exhaust of the engine, maybe you also could add some dirt to the lower part of the plane too? From all the dirt of the landing strips etc ;)

Would you mind just tossing an Army Texture on there? Plain Green US Army on the side?

It looks damn sexy

Ahmad : about ac130 is it just 3 types of weapons connected to he c130 hercules

Making an AC130 is far more complex than just "connecting" a few weapons to a C-130 with regards to ArmA. Several extremely talented groups have attempted it, and just can't get it to work.

This is also why you're not going to see a C-130 which you can drive vehicles into either. The game engine doesn't allow for that.

I'm developing two versions:

1. Cargo version. This features the rudimentary cargo drop system utilized by USEC during its online operations for the last six months. I will be editing it slightly to make use of some functions that will expand how this works with the advent of patch 1.14. This allows the loading and dropping of vehicles. You drive the vehicle onto the aircraft, an option appears saying "load aircraft" and the vehicle disappears and a crate appears in the aircraft. You can load two vehicles onto the aircraft, with two large crates in the back indicating the aircraft is full. When flying, opening the cargo ramp opens it to the drop position, and when it is open those in the aircraft can drop the cargo. Deploying the cargo creates a crate with a parachute, and when this hits the ground, the vehicle appears at this point.

2. Passenger version. Self explanatory. Will contain seats for passengers.

As I've stated, I will be not attempting to do anything else with the C130. My intention is to get it done, get it out, and move onto my other projects. I will revisit the C130 within six months based on feedback, then again when ArmA 2 is released.
