So I have a helicopter that has
Heli1 enableSimulation false;
where Heli1 is the unit name and when the trigger is activated it activates this
Heli1 enableSimulation true;
However, when the trigger is activated, the helicopter blows up. I'm wondering if a trigger can only do a limited amount of things. I have the trigger also linked to a few waypoints and I linked it to a truck that has the same scripts as the helicopter, and the truck blows up too.

You should verify the bounding boxes in these objects are not collided each other or with an object like a container.
You can place an object on a container but not "inside", even partially.
Your units could explode as well without disable/enable simulation sequence. You just delay this event.
