Hello! So I'm trying to make my first arma 3 mission and as an intro I want to make it so that a helicopter flies near an objective, then drops the players out of the heli for them to parachute down to the objective.

So far, I have the helicopter that flies to the objective and I think I have the players in the heli ( used code: "This moveincargo heli" for each playable character) however whenever I load the intro, I just get a bird's eye view of the island!

Can anyone give me some pointers as to A. how to play as one of the characters, and B. how to get them to jump when they reach the trigger.

have you tried to make a dropcargo point.

over the objective

and about the player there is a field in the attributes that says PLAYER and one with PLAYABLE put a mark in the one with PLAYER and there will be a RED Cirkel around the unit, showing that it is the player.

It is better to burn out than fade away.

There is no player in an intro, just units. That means you can't use variable player and you can't play.
BUT
if you don't define a "player" (red circle), you'll be in splendid view camera (no interest).
So keep a "player". Your camera can follow what you want. By default, engine follows the "player" unit in 3rd person.

If your "player" is leader, no chance to follow a waypoint. That's weird but only AI leader can go somewhere and the group follows him.

write:
{_x moveInCargo helo} forEach units this; //helo is the name of the helicopter
in the init field of the group icon. The camera will focus on the "player", the group will be in board and the group will follow all waypoints like TR_Unload, move...
