An oldie but a goodie...

This is something I was receiving requests for. A video I removed almost five months ago, but everyone wanted it back up, so here it is, your screen capture goodness. Thanks to everyone who punched me in the stomach, and or, wanted said video back up.

Cheers!

I thought, as bad as ArmA is, it could use a real video tribute.

Thus -

EDIT: It's all my own footage, I simply compiled much of it into one flick.

Sorry to hear you dont like it, great to see you still like to make a video though :D

I like the video itself however I would have put different music over it. I would have put some fast, loud rocking music over it :D

Well, it's not like I hate the game, mate. It's certainly far easier on the eyes than OFP, but OFP at least had a bit of substance too it. But hey, the new ArmA2 videos have squashed some of my apprehension about the new title. I actually looking foward too it!

Hey it's killing me. Where do you get the apps to capture videos of ArmA while in game? I guess the movie making apps. I can't figure it out anywhere :(

If anyone has an answer, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Josh

I tried the Game Cam but have Vista (yes I'm sorry too), and can't run it. But tried the fraps app but don't really want to pay for it for the full program. Any suggestions (other than just pay for it)?

I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Josh

Don't know i never tried.

Do a search on Google about "game recording free" i guess you can find some programs there.

For example like this:

http://camstudio.org/

with this small tutorial:

http://www.gameinnovator.com/game_videos_camstudio.php

I'm sure there are more programs maybe you can check. But i don't think you will get the same quality (i might be wrong).

I posted this over at the ArmA Movie Makers site.

Searching around YouTube while messing with my account, and came across this.

Vid i made about blackhawkdown in arma

Sorry mate, you didn't produce that Blackhawk Down video, Sin329 did... a video I'm certain you all know. Point being, this asshole has claimed that he filmed this, which just isn't the case. Hackers that destroy our MP games, and now, scumbags that claim responsibility for things that aren't theirs. This violates IIPR, or International Intellectual Property Rights.

Do what you can via YouTube to shut this tosser down.

Cheers mates!

Bryan

Edit by Big: I fixed the youtube link, adding a working bbcode

Thats a great video, sad to see people taking credit for it without deserving it.
We just have to make sure the community credits the correct people, what happens at sites as youtbe we can not change (other than posting comments about his sad behaviour).
