I just watched it at work with no sound as well... but DAMN that was GREAT! I wish I had those kinds of skillz lol. It has inspired me to try much harder with my own arma movies. Also, can anyone tell me how I can get a decent sized video with good quality like that on youtube? Maybe I need to use some kind of different program to render it or something, I dunno... I use Sony Vegas now, and it seems like I either get good enough size (under 100 MB) but the quality is craptacular, or the quality is good, but the size goes over the limit. Any tips?

yes make it a bit smaller trow all unnessesary moviesetups away so keep the action instead watching some movie-sreens were nothing happend keep the timer on 3/6 min.
You tube will format your movie to there size, so its importaint to get it sharp enough for release.

To make your movie sharp watch for those settings i think you have to have it SHARPNESS :)
I use MAGIX its easy in use also for not skilled moviemakers BUT, there is almost no limmit in it to make it beter then your last release :)

If you cant get it sharp PM me and i can help you out with it ;)

Yes, I understand that, but I don't understand how youtube is supposed to have limits. It says it must be under 100MB and under 10 Minutes. I've seen 16 Minute videos with great quality with to the best of my knowledge (which isnt very much lol) it would HAVE to be over the 100MB as well. But, if I must stick with what I got, then so be it. Thanks for offering your help as well, greatly appreciated.

Another very nice video using some very good addons/mods. So if you havent seen/tried those yet this video might make you re-think that ;)

Footage taken from the 6thsense.eu complication mod (v0.93) (Full version (0.85) and the patches).
Notable features are the improved and enhanced sound and visual effects. Those explosion effects are from ArmA Effects by Maddmatt.

@fromz
Very nice video. You are using a lot of "tweaked" addons I think?
I have added your High res version to our streaming video section, you can view it here.

@Ross2555
:welcome to armaholic.
Very good first video, nice story you made.
Only one small minor things I thought could be worth improving. Its the way you cut of the sounds and/or music when switching to a black screen. Maybe you could fade it out a bit instead?
Even a quick fade out is nice than just cutting it off IMHO ;)

Other than that I enjoyed watching it.

@Ross2555

Nice video just a few comments,

like what fox told you earlyer fade in and out its to fast but i think you can solf this.

Also if you want to let people see some cars or trucks or what so ever close-ups driveing in your camera just limit the speed its look better to see what kind of car it is ;) (in your movie its way to fast)

The sound example: when you want to let people to hear your hear gunfire, lower the music a bit poeple hear the gunfire and then you increase the music back but do it in an smooth way as same of the movie moments. dont recording the sound to hard in your movie people can put there speakers harder and softer

Just try to update your movie and lets us see what you did.
if you need some help more give me a call
