Forget about winrar and install 7zip which is free and works in my opinion better.

So just uninstall winrar, then install 7zip open it and in the tools check all files to be opened with it (rar, zip, 7zip, ....)

Probably he was using winrar with that stupid adv about buying it or applied a crack to remove it, that's why i tell u to move completely to 7zip.

U are really annoying :D

Every 7zip download from armaholic in the news has a link to 7zip site so u can download it, just so u know for other time.

I shouldn't be doing this but telling u to use google to find it but here we go:

- 7zip site

ive always used the addons folder and now i have about a dozen mods and addons installed and theyr all in the addons folder, not a single crash yet, exept when i tried to put SLX mod to addons folder. it f***ed up arma. but it is easy to fix: you just remove those files from addons and arma works again.

fun fact: you get peace by war, you get war by peace

That's a bad option Tomahawk.

When u have to patch arma again u will have to remove all or u will end uninstalling and installing the game again. And u can end with addon conflict really easy which u can't check easily without being time consuming.

Best way, as explained in the faq, it's the use of modfolders and the arma launcher.

The SLX is suppose to be installed with a modfolder, not the add-ons folder, no wonder it's messed up.
