When I save the image as a .paa file, the view bar's options aren't saving, it resets whenever I click save. I found this problem in a other topic and for him it seems resizing the image h,w same size works for him (for example: 255, 255), I tried the same, used photoshop, trying to convert a png to paa with the DXT

It needs to be converted in certain sizes ,so try the standard resolutions as:
512x512 , 1024x1024 ,2048x1024 , 2048x2048 ,4096x4096 but not further generally .

So test , because maybe its because the resolution

As [GR]FLOROS G stated, your best best is to use the correct resolution. 512x512 , 1024x1024 ,2048x1024 , 2048x2048 ,4096x4096. Personally I default to 1024 x 1024. You can use photoshop or any image editing software including paint or even paint 3D if you so wish. But ensure that you edit your files, save them with the correct res, then go to TV2 and open the file. When you choose to export, use RGBA + DTX5 or DTX sectors + DTX5, either should work. If all else fails, then you could use an original .Paa file from the mod pack, load it though TV2 and save it as a .jpeg or .png via the save as function. Just swap the .paa extention for your desired one.
