Ok have to admit I am new to ArmaIII and want to play exile but every server I try to join says they have different mods.
So I came here to download mods and after copying the files to addons and keys I try to start the game and I am getting missing files all over the place. Cant even start normal arma III missions now as I deleted some needed files apparently.
Would be easier if when you tried to join a server it gave the option to download needed files ;-(
Is it really so difficult to add mods and get online?

1st error Addon 'fow_veg_p' requires addon 'A3_vegetation_F_Exp'
2nd error after startup bin\confog.bin/cfgweapons/weaponslotinfo.scope

Contrary, manually adding mods is really simple and anyone who actually is willing to read a bit can do it. That is also the reason why on every downloadpage you find installation instructions, with a link to a detailed guide about how to do this.

So, my advice is read that info and follow the steps in the guide.

I have followed the instructions and added the addons exactly like they say so no idea why I am suddenly missing files. Also not sure if these files belong to the original install or part of addons I added.

You just have to extract the file with the "@" sign into your arma 3 folder and add the mod in the launcher by clicking "Local mod" and selecting the folder. Its really simple.
Some mods might be outdated and thats why you are missing files. You can try to verify game files through Steam.

The 1st error you have listed seems like you are playing Unsung or some mod that requires Apex DLC, make sure you have the DLC installed or the trees and vegetation on the maps wont work for you
