We have added the possibility of watching streaming videos at armaholic. As always every video can be downloaded from our video page, but now we also offer the option to view any videos in streaming media.
Our streaming videosection can be found in the downloadsection, or just click here

Give us some time to add the earlier videos to the section as well.

Firefox user might experience some difficulties with the streaming video pages. We are looking for a solution.
If you want to view them anyway you best just use IE for it............sorry.

FF users may have to do this:
    1- Close FF
2- go to Documents and Settings folder
3- Application Data --> Mozilla --> Firefox Folder
4- Open with notepad or other program the file pluginreg.dat.
    5- Change this code:
    Npdsplay dll|$
Windows Media Player Plug-in Dynamic Link Library|$
    10 <-- changed from 9 to 10
    0|application/asx|Media Files|*|$
    1|video/x-ms-asf-plugin|Media Files|*|$
    2|application/x-mplayer2|Media Files|*|$
    3|video/x-ms-asf|Media Files|asf,asx,*|$
    4|video/x-ms-wm|Media Files|wm,*|$
    5|audio/x-ms-wma|Media Files|wma,*|$
    6|audio/x-ms-wax|Media Files|wax,*|$
    7|video/x-ms-wmv|Media Files|wmv,*|$
    8|video/x-ms-wvx|Media Files|wvx,*|$
    9|video/x-msvideo|Media Files|avi,*|$ <-- Added

Now the files will be displayed using Windows Media Player.

NOTE1: Be sure when u edit the pluginreg.dat FF is closed or it wont work.
NOTE2: If u dont find the "Application Data --> Mozilla --> Firefox Folder" in ur Documents and Settings folder, be sure u do this:
    1. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.
    2. Click the View tab.
    3. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.
After editing the file u can again uncheck the Show Hidden Files option.

If you have done the fix described by big but its still not working, like in my case it wasnt.
Check your preferences on what device should play wav/avi/ etc etc files.
For me it was set to vcl player, this caused the streaming video not to work properly. I changed it to WMP and now I can view the videos streaming in Firefox!

I'm having problems now with FF, if the video is bigger than the screen it only shows some part. You have to click on it to go to full screen to be able to watch it.

Don't know if it's only me, anyways i just switch using IEtab extension to watch it on IE tab inside firefox.

The streaming video section is closed. We will only host the video's about Arma 2 for our contributing members (still working on this). All other people should download these videos from the original source (like fileplanet etc).

The Arma 1 and Arma 2 video pages will stay available, in fact the Arma 2 video page will be fully up to date again soon but the downloads will point to the original source, only contributers will be able to download the video's from us directly.
