Im using 1.7 and i cant get the Anygear mod to work.

Also when using the turkish armed forces mod with ace 1.7, in the editor, i cant add individual men. however i can still add the choppers or jeeps or apcs...

Also, when u go to groups, all the turkish infantry groups are available, however, when i go to turn one from the group into player, he turns into a us soldier?

Is there a list of ACE mod weapons similar to this that you can direct me to?
Ace mod modified the dam and range of most weapons right? To try to improve realism.

All I could find was this spreadsheet in the ace folder

ArmA\@ACE\Docs\references\weaplist_config_weap.xls

but i'm looking for damage and effective ranges in a similar format to either the spread sheet or the link above.

Beens : Am i the only one having probelm using the binocular?

When using the binoculars u hav to put them up to your eyes (Default B) then zoom in (right mouse button) to get the scoped view.

Binoculars need to be select and then zoomed for proper use.

Jump is more of a climb-over feature. Works fine when near a low fence.

Hi all
I've been playing The domination Maps (with ACE Mod) and i've notice that pple can put different map markers on the map screen, like a LZ symbol and little squars. How do u get the different MAP symbols? wots the secreate?

Not an ACE secret. Just use up/down arrows and left/right arrows to change before typing any text.

Check the manuals and online FAQs for more.

There is only one thing that disappoints me in ACE, and its the sound of incoming fire, im pretty sure it will be sorted in the next update(i understand you cant fix everything at once) but just incase you were thinking of leaving it the way it is, DONT!!!

So far the best sounds ive heard for incoming fire were FFN and XAM, im sure many who have had bullets go their direction will agree so maybe something along those lines would be great.

Other than that, fantastic work, best mod ever !

Hello Gentlemen
I have just installed Ace mod update 1.08 and I notice that the view using OPTICS and holding down the FREEVIEW key is giving a severely limited range about 20 degrees. In version 1.07 the view was close to 75 degrees. Is there a reason for that or is it an oversight?

i cant tell you how much i love this mod. just keeps getting better and better with every patch.... but they still also amaze me at how much stuff they brake :( in 1.08 now all the guns sound like some one hitting a magazine on a wooden table :(( the guns sound terrible now... is there a way to get them to sound like they did in 1.07? without reverting back to 1.07?

Sound effects are kind of a religous issue - you can never get 100% to agree to anything. ;)

It is possible to use other sound effect packages alongside with ACE if you do the right magic. Also
there is always the option of asking the ACE devs themselves via a ticket on dev-heaven.net.

I have ACE and Xam running but would like to use the new hifi sound mod.How do I disable the sounds in Ace and xam....do you know the right magic? Have tried removing the sound pbo's but then a lot of the sound disapears?
