Police Addons by Delta Hawk and Swat Guy

Mod Info:
Delta Hawk gratified the community with information and screenshots about the Crown Victory Police addons he is working on along with Swat Guy.

Quote Delta Hawk:
COPS is brought to you by Delta Hawk and Swat Guy of Armed Assault. All suspected addons are innocent until released by the website of ArmA.info

Sorry, I just got flashbacks of the TV show COPS. I wanted to take a moment and give everyone a little update on my progress with the Police Addons I am making and the final product is looking very close to being completed. It will also include the appropriate police officers thanks to the help of Swat Guy. Well, I got to get back to work, Enjoy!

Those are looking awsome! cant wait for the release. Will you be able to hear a police radio when inside the vehicle?

these are Great!!! just a little suggestion though! there should be a all white undercover car with no markings, just the antennas, with no roof light bar! just a dash light and search light! it should be easy to make right? thanks it would be very useful for many things, including a much needed military police car(all white car with black writing"Military Police")!

thanks,

Awesome work, Delta Hawk & SWAT Guy!!!

I like the metro feel and you have done a fine work inside the car too! It makes me want to be a cop in a COOP game.

I have several question toward Delta Hawk & SWAT Guy:

1) Do you allow texture changes? Modifications to meet anyone's need?

2) Are you planning on any new vehicular introductions to the game? i.e. the Nogovan police car here. Look at :17. Could be great for 60's, 70's themed missions.

3) Vehicles of different sizes? SWAT vans, prisoner vans? UK transport vans? Click here.

4) Any other projects regarding police? Project Sahrani, Project North Sahrani, etc.?

Thanks.

Hi Delthawk,

Some known issues when me and a few buds tested your cars, I know its just an Alpha but let me say, there amazing, the quality, and just the detail in the model (Rifle bag, flares, etc) lets just say I had to change my pants :P
Anyway, moving on :)

So far these issues are as follows:

- Client Side Sirens
- Client Side Lightbars and Directionals
- The speed is somewhat slower than normal (Might not be a bug?)
- Very long delay when opening the doors, about 2-5 seconds later you get the option to leave your vehicle
- Me and a bunch of people are getting an FPS Drop when you look at the cars
- DOOR AJAR Light stays on in every car after the doors are closed, except for the Patrol P71
- Damage is incredibly sensitive, one hit and the car is done
- When in MP, the host must enter the vehicle before ANY other players can :(
- No Gear Box

Hope that helps!

We are gonna be adding them to the CityLife Alpha Test soon to check compatibility but I'm sure they will run fine !

Yes I'm not sure whats happening but from what I've heard (third party person here) Deltahawk is leaving for the Armed Forces soon and he does not have time to fix the cars :( I may be wrong dont take my word so fast, but hopefully I am.

I have the same problem :(
and i think it's take a bit long to get out of the car, but anyway, love the cars :)

@W.Clark, please make a patrole car for Sahrani Police and in the right texture, or maybe use one of my ideas :D ?
