There's something wrong with your ArmA installation at all, the mod folder setup is ok now.

You have installed ArmA in program files\arma\arma\

but your shortcut says c:\program files\atari\arma\arma.exe

Below that arma folder there is an Atari folder, check if arma is there too (for whatever reason) and if yes set up the mod folder again (move it) into the Atari folder.

Yeah I just noticed that my self and the weird thing is I got two folders quite similar, but a bit different, one is called ARMA and the other is called Atari i moved both folders to my desktop. The Atari folder has a sub folder with the ARMA folder in it.?

http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/6292/folders.jpg check it out.

Of course, program files\arma is the folder with the installation files. program files\atari\arma is where your game is installed at. Now with your @units folder there it must work.

Alright, we get it to work. Might just take a little longer...

Edit your shortcut to ArmA and change the line 'Start in' from c:\users\aaron\desktop\atari\arma to
c:\program files\atari\arma\ and try again. Also make sure you have the addon folder with the pbo's in your @units mod folder (might be the case, but just to be 100% sure).

Or even better: create a new shortcut on your desktop, locate the arma.exe in your ..\atari\arma folder and user that one for the test. the parameters should be like this:

Target: c:\program files\atari\arma\arma.exe -nosplash -mod=@units
Start in: c:\program files\atari\arma\
The rest leave as it is.

Erm.... your atari folder never should have left the program files folder :)

You have msn or skype by chance? That might be faster than chatting in a forum

Worst ideas ever.

A) WinRar is commercial software with nagware popups if you don't buy it (which no one does I imagine), get 7Zip from http://www.7zip.org which handles rar files as well as zip, and 7z files you'll see around a lot.

B) NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER put anything in your default AddOns folder. Never. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. You can sleep with your sister, but you shouldn't. Same with mods. Learn to use mod folders and that way you won't break things because you were lazy and thought your sister would do in a pinch.

^ Agreed, on both points, although in regard to the incest references I'll have to defer -as I have no direct experience with it- to the regional IT expert . :-)

Manually make a campaign folder in your game directory, it will work the same way.

And welcome to Armaholic *HI*

OMG Thank you Thank you Thank you

Added 4 hours 18 minutes later:

Oh yeah and the Missions and MPMissions folders kinda work as well. It picked up CO16 Joe and the Volcano but it doesnt pick up my undead mod missions. You know, the ones that come with the mod.
