With the next version there is a way for better grenades control, e.g. you see where the grenade lands.

Thank you SOo much Wolle! I am considering Buying this, saving up my money now...

I am curious, could you post some pics of the buffalo and cougar, and maybe a few more of the Talons ?! :satisfied

That would be sooo great : ) (im in love with these vehicles)

Also, does the Ai seem any smarter? When you assemble a convoy, does it still have to stop and glitch up ever 6 seconds cus some truck accidentally careened off of the perfectly level straight highway for no apparent reason at all? =p

And how does that drag body script work? Is it simply for wounded men, or dead as well?

I know you can put things in trunks and such right? Is there anyway to maybe put an injured man in a medevac chopper or ambulance?

I picked up my VBS2 on Sunday (it arrived at my business on saturday but I couldnt drive anymore cause I drank a few beers.........could not withstand the tension of when I would recieve my VBS2 DVD)

As for the AI, I played a few games and I definatly liked the AI more. They did pretty nice stuff and also they were no mega snipers with AK's with ironsights.
In fact you can really have long firefighgts while you are in a bad position, its just a matter of shooting a lot :D

I didnt meet a convoy yet so I cant answer that one.

The drag body works pretty nice, you can drag dead and wounded soldiers. Although I noticed a bug when I draged someones body (other human player) while he was wounded, for the rest of the mission his body was laying on the ground on his back and moving. He himself saw it correctly it just wasnt updated for me.

A lot more buildings can be accesed, I really like that. A lot of doors can be opened and the roofs can be accesed :)

The default sounds are awesome. I will not need a sound mod with VBS2 :)
Having a 5 - 10 minute firfight is intense to the bone.

I didnt have much time to check out the real time editor or the mission editor and AAR but from what I saw it is great :)

@W0lle, sorry for not responding but indeed........I was checking what VBS2 has to offer :D

Can do that, if no one else is faster.

Also, does the Ai seem any smarter? When you assemble a convoy, does it still have to stop and glitch up ever 6 seconds cus some truck accidentally careened off of the perfectly level straight highway for no apparent reason at all? =p
The AI is definitely improved over ArmA, but still doing stupid things every here and there. You don't need to play babysitter for your own men all the time and as Fox said, no AK snipers shooting you straight in the eys from 1000m away. But that has been fixed in ArmA too by now.

I know you can put things in trunks and such right? Is there anyway to maybe put an injured man in a medevac chopper or ambulance?
You can place wounded/dead mean in every vehicle with cargo places.

@Fox: No problemo mate, I know how addicting it can be. You see something you wanna try out and the next minute something else comes up you haven't seen before. :D

yeah, Im really looking forward to that UK gear ;)

Has anyone tried out the new US CBRN/MOPP troops. you can dress them for various threat states.

Another cool feature i really like is in the editor you can choose a base unit and add your own weapons and equipment. You then name and save the unit which is then auto added to the unit list for you to use when ever you like.

The new setup screen in RTE which let you create a complete new unit with custom gear. No more working with removeWeapon/addWeapon commands

The weights in brackets behind weapons/magazines is important now because of the new fatique system.

Haha, thats so bad-ass :)

Edit: So guys, can you slap on your own weapon mods and such? For example if I want to add a tactical light to my M4 or a Peq-2 ? Or would you rather select in the editor: "M4 Aimpoint Tactical Light, M4 Aimpoint PEQ-2, etc?
