Can we make a list of Arma1 addons that work with Arma2 here?

I'm sure a lot of people have had time testing with the German version to get some sort of idea of what addons work WITHOUT MODIFICATION, in Arma2

For people like me who have little to no idea how to convert things themselves.

up-armoured Hummers: (A few errors on loading, but they do work!)

P71 and P72 Police Interceptors (I personally can't seem to enter them, but they can be used.)

The Hughes 300c and Bell206 JetRanger work, but the 300c has missing textures.

The sigma wheeled pack all are graphically fine. However, the driving position is all wrong.

This will be really helpful! Hopefully you can find some Infantry units that work in ArmA II. Like MGS4 PMC's! :D

I think converting stuff from ArmaI isnt so difficult.I think you only need to open the Config File and make some changes there.

Yesterday i added the Littlebird from Cyborg11 but i wanted a NAPA Version,so i downloaded the NAPA Skin from JezhusScream
but i wont work.So i opened the Config and manualy set the Textures to the NAPA Version,now it Works.

Get a PBO Tool (like PBO View),extract the PBO from the Vehicles (should be in Addon Folder,for example the Su34 is in Air3.pbo)
and check the Config Files.Make a new working Pilot and use the new Factions,for example USMC_Soldier_Pilot with faction USMC instead of Racs or so.

I've tried adding Sahrani to ArmA 2, but there's far too much dependency with the rest of ArmA's files to have that work. That would be the Holy Grail of ported content, because (this might just be me) I quite liked Sahrani and I don't really find Chernarus to be all that great -- all samey, forests and fields.

Great thread, Started one at BIS, but might as well carry on here ;)

I got a few things working,

All of the Normandy Mod vehicals, in planes

FFs Air BF109 which is looking great in Arma II

Johns Buggy (and its isnt.......buggy)

Using Caa1 to play in Sara, but no luck with getting Sara vehicals to work in Caa1, they do work if you make a basic Sara mod folder though.

Forgot to mention Giga Scud works, but the explosion laggs, and is lacking the full mushroom cloud.

Also the gnat subs work well.

Must be mentioned, that the Up Armoured Hummer wont work with the Caa1 sarahni mod.

Avro Vulcan works but with no sound ;( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyukJ5SxcL0&feature=channel

The flying carpet addon works fine, and so does usec_maule aircraft.

Hey alot of you guys say these mods work but whenever I try it For example the Gigan nuke, It says the file is too short, Expecting 1804382423 bytes but only got 175236779 bytes or something like that

I'd love to get a CH47 Chinook into Arma2, but i don't know enough about editing addons, so would somebody please modify some configs so that we can use them in Arma2 and upload them? (With permission or course!)

Try version 1.0, thats the one im using. When i got the time i will do a link to it.

the BF109 addon works, but you must place the empty plane or it will give an error about the pilot:
