v1.0 released

Thanks to:
vo.2 for letting me use his configs as a template.
Blackhawk, Grimfist and Enad for beta testing.

D3 WeaponFX

VopSound 2.1 (optional)

The title say sit all really. I'm working on a sound mod, currently only to change the sound of the weapons ingame. The mod is still in the very early stages of developement. The sounds I've used aren't necessarily accurate to real life, I would like to make them as accurate as possible without making them sound bad. I would like to know what people think about this and what they want to hear, to give me some input.

Another reason why I'm making this topic is because I would like some beta testers to test and give feedback before a release. Send me a PM if you are interested and I will link you the files (when they are ready).

What kind of feedback would you like from beta testers? I'm interested but I almost know nothing about authentic military weapon sounds.

Basically what you think sounds good, stuff that will make the game more exciting. Just in general what you think, and what would make a good soundmod. Let me know what sounds crap and what sounds good.

I will send you a link to download it to test some weapon sounds once I have worked on it some more.

I'd test it if you'd like.
But from this video, I can tell you the AK sounds are crap, sound like toys or paintball guns. And I theres something about the M16 sounds that I like and I dont like.:con

They've been fixed, no longer sound like "Paintball guns" or whatever you call them.

I've made a new video showing the latest progress. I've made the addon so that it is compatible with Vopsound, also thanks to v.o2 for letting me use his config as a template. The addon still works without Vopsound, you will just receive a message when you start the game that it will require it, if you're not running it.

@Enad, Blackhawk
I will PM you both the link so that you can test them out in the game.

After testing these I have to say that just overall the weapons need to be LOUDER. I had to turn effects up to 75% for desired effect.

Thanks, QuickCon & :welcome to armaholic.

I have to say I agree, I should of made the sounds louder in the first place. In the next version I will definitely make the sounds louder.

Thanks for acknowledging me...

But I always keep my effects at 100% so I didn't really notice them being low.

It's unfortunate I can't run this mod on servers.
