It's not that hard actually, just have to have a lot of patience sometimes. You'll make mistakes and end up learning shortcuts. PM me if you have any weapons or uniform queries.

Oh, and AD, I'm planning on getting to my storage unit this weekend and finding Ghost Recon and installing it. Hopefully I can get to the box with Ghost Recon and all the mods in it relatively handily.

As soon as I have time I will make an example mission for watching the fastroping from a distance, right now I forget how exactly, it is possible though. As for the example insertion in that video go here.

Do these work in ArmA II? I saw a screenshot on the BI Forums and it had these and it looked like it was in Chernarus.

GND Tech! Check it out!

There's the picture, posted by Sniper Pilot. Not sure if it's ArmA2 or what, but I would like to know what is being done with my helos before an attempted port is made.

Nice pic though.

EDIT: Sniper Pilot contacted me, he made an attempt to port it, looks really good too, still a lot of bugs which I will sort out in the coming weeks.

BTW: Got the barrels spinning on the mini-guns, and am almost finished with adding the co pilot seat and disabling it for cargo.

hmmhmm just curious, so i have got it to where i can drop a group somewhere via fastrope when im playing as the group, usually do a flyinheight to a low altitude and then have a 30 second wait on the helis next waypoint which would be where we would fastrope at, but for some reason after dropping the crew out it drops one guy and then takes off usually killing the rest while there fastroping, lol I even tried attaching a radio trigger to the waypoint so he wont leave until I hit it but it doesnt work either... is there a way to do it lol.. but again i must say these are some of the finer helis in arma.

Here is an example mission where the helo waits long enough at the rope point, maybe that will help. I usually drop ropes right before the helo gets into position, and choose "fastrope" as soon as it is still.

ADuke : [quote]monty67t :
MH-60K should be green not black.

When they get dirty or wet they look black, but it's the same green as the regular Army UH-60s.

I made a black one because it was requested but don't worry, there will be an Army OD one too.

Hey ADuke, how's it going? It seems that I have given you some bad information. After doing some more research and talking to some of my friends who are still in the business, it seems that black is the primary color for all 160th aircraft. I guess there are some CARC green ones out there, but they are generally black. I'm sorry about that man.

I want to finish up the new version for ArmA and get started porting to ArmA 2 but I need one piece of information:

Does anyone know if in real life if a uh60/mh60 has the esss attached, can it NOT have mini-guns on the doors?

As soon as I get that bit of info I can finish.

Thanks,

ADuke

Got my answer on Yahoo Answers...

It is not the ESSS that limits the use of door mounted weapons but rather the ERFS.

The ESSS is what holds on the ERFS, so the ESSS by itself would not inhibit the use of a door gun.

However, as per the UH-60 -10, the M60D door gun (as well as other door mounted weapons) is prohibited when the ERFS is installed on the inboard pylons. When the ERFS is only installed on the outboard pylons, a door gun can be used only when the ERFS pintle mount stop is installed which limits the movement of the weapon to keep it from shooting the fuel cells.

So I am doing a version with the external fuel tanks, but it will be unarmed.
