@V_WRX- No problem, that's what happens when you make a polite request for a bug fix over a PM!, let me know if you have any other concerns. :)

@Foxhound- Thanks for your work, I understand the being busy stuff, I myself am starting to think there just aren't enough hours in the day. ;)

These Helos are cool but i have one little problem.
The time it takes from when you click 'drop ropes' to when the last man hits the ground i think it takes a little to long.

Hey ADuke, If your planning to continue this line of helo packs, mind if I make a suggestion?

These helos are amazing and I really love the way troops sit on the edge of the chopper but the capacity of the chopper is actually quite low (8). Perhaps adding in two or 3 more positions in the cargo area that has some soldiers actually standing in the middle and holding on to the ceiling of the chopper would be nice.

Just a suggestion. Thanks.

with out trying to speak for aduke, its not really possible as first of all i dont think theres an animation for them to stand..while holding on something above(to simulate holding onto the "bench bars" aka the pole that the seats attach too) as thats what we would hang on to in rl! second keep in mind he was trying to add as many seating spots as possible with out having guys inside one another lol! but a duke has tought me many of the things i know about modeling and proxys throw alot of long nites of hard work, on his part(mad props on that bro) and iv made my own versions of these(for practice) and see the limitaions aduke has to work with! unless u guys want dudes hlf way with the arms throw a door in throw another guys body lol, this is what we have to work with.

Hey Folks,

Sorry for my long hiatus from the forums, the holidays have me swamped with RL stuff to attend to. Thanks for handling the forum replies Soldier2390.

So, ya, there are a lot of limitations which prevent me from adding guys in the middle, I could try to make my own animations (and have briefly actually) but creating/editing animations for ArmA or ArmAII is far from an intuitive/user-friendly process and the thought of having to do it makes me cringe.

But, on a more positive note, I definitely want to extend the cargo capacity on the helos and I think if I squeeze all of the current cargo positions against the wall, eachother, and the seats, that I can get at least one more sitting cargo position in the middle. I'm not promising anything but I am going to test out this idea and see how it goes.

Anyway, happy holidays to everyone.

-AD

oh wow. I thought it was a simply matter of adding a soldier model standing and sticking it in the middle. I guess it is a lot more complicated than I thought. O well, the pack as it is is quite more than satisfactory.

good to hear ADuke! and of corse im here if you need me!

@Jak107 yeah mate its alot more work then that! first you dont use models of soldiers, you use proxys(flat triangles) that are positioned exactly where you want a guy to be, then you define(in the config) his position type(ei. uh60_cargo01)! well atleast thats the basics, just wanted to give you an idea so incase you ever wanna try this stuff for your self;)

p.s. aduke speaking of cargo seating and stuff, i know you busy but have you looked more inot the SF 4x4 trucks i sent you(the ones me and you were working on along time ago i think..lol) if not no worrys mate i understand your busy, just wanted to know if when i get my new rig, if you wnat to continue them with me, even or by your self? i just love the work you do on them!

good day,
Dave

I think he quit working on the ArmA 1 version. But knowing me, I'm probably wrong.

Anyways, he said that people can post here if they have questions about the pack. http://dukefiles.net/forum/

Uh Aduke? i love your choppers infact they are the reason i installed ArmA I again..but i hav a prob...in a custom mission in Armed Assault there are 4 MH-60's flying over to Northern sahrani were they will then unload they're "Chalk" by fast roping....but when i try to use ur script it says it isnt found..idk if this is because the script was ment for ArmA II or wat but is there a way to fix this?
