It'll be interesting to see how this is implemented and if it works out.

Well i hope this EP will add......

The ability to shoot from vehicles.
Example: For those of you are real US snipers. Some of you might have to shoot something from a Helicopter. IE black hawk or Huey. Some of you will agree with me on that one it will be nice. (Without addons)

Hand Movement when using Vehicle weapons.
- I know you guys hate that part of gun movement magic. You can rely see an example when shooting from the Russian vodnik

Some Friendly Robots to take the Bullets
- Just like in the real world I hate to go into building and get shot at. So why not have some little robots get shot at for us.

In the mean time. I just continue go into the battlefield getting shot at.:yes

Apparently the Czech Military is going to be included. A bit unrealistic wouldn't you say because the Czechs wouldn't get themselves in an offensive operation unless it affected their interests. They have only taken part in Peacekeeping missions according to Wikipedia.

Yeah. Your right Blackhawk.
I would totally prefer having an extensive selection of British Forces instead of Czech.
Like British SAS, Normal Infantry, Generic Special Forces and other branches. :)

I saw the UN are involved, really want BIS to make a game based on anything OTHER than the US..eg. OFP, ARMA1, ARMA2. I have nothing wrong with it, just gets a bit tiring after a while.
At least i think the UN are involved, would explain why there is M113 and MI8's with UN Markings.

+1 for obvious reasons.

Great for Czech's, not so great for the rest of us I think.

Yeah. I mean having another Blufor besides US is cool but its obvious that the British military is more often seen in conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq rather than Czech Forces. Im sure the Czech forces look pretty cool but I would MUCH rather see some kickass British SAS soldiers and standard infantry to fight along side with.
Maybe if BI adds some Czech Special Forces it would be a bit better.:dozingoff
Im mean...Have the Czech ever actually been involved in a conflict in Iraq or Afghanistan?

Yes but they do not have to create Czech forces...
I think most of us ArmA II players would prefer British Forces over Czech forces.
I know BI isnt gonna make British forces now that I brought it up, Im just stating my opinion.

Since World War II the Czechs have only taken part in UN peacekeeping missions.

The Czechs don't even have that much interesting Military hardware. They use T-72s, BMP-2's, Vz. 58 rifles and the....Saab Gripen...:|

Exactly my point.
The Brits have some awesome military hardware and they just look badass in general.
BUT...Its not out decision. Its BI's.

Not entirely true. The Czech's are a contributing member of NATO's ISAF contingent in Afghanistan with around 400+ troops operating in the region, including members of their SOG or Special Operation Group. Operation Arrowhead, as everyone is well aware, is based off that ongoing conflict and COIN operations. It's fairly obvious why they were included. However, it really doesn't make a lot of sense simply because they certainly aren't one of the larger contributing nations. The UK would have been the obvious choice IMHO, then Germany, France, the Netherlands and so on. Again, it is based off that war.....

Well, every NATO member is a contributor to the ISAF mission in Afghanistan.

But it's the hardware the Czechs have. The usual, T-72's, BMP's, basically the same old Ex-Soviet equipment the CDF, ChDKZ and SLA had. No Challengers, Leopards or Type 99's. That's what is annoying me.

Yeah I'm with Blackhawk there. Im sure the Czech are somewhat involved, but I really can care less about having them in the game, I dont need to see another force using outdated weapons and older vehicles...
Well. I dont care much about this, its BI's choice and they chose the Czech military.

Who knows, maybe we could convince Stalker to make a Desert DPM replacement pack of his badass units once Operation Arrowhead is released. :D

BIS have said that the Czech forces in AO will be based on their contingent in Afghanistan, who mostly rock around in 4*4s like Land Rovers, armoured HMMWVs (M1151s), Iveco LMVs (similar to the Panther CLV we use) and Dingo MPVs so I wouldn't expect too many T-72s and BPT-2. I reckon it'll mostly be a few Czech soldiers and some modern Vz.58 rifle variants (or M4s if they're doing Czech SOF)

They also said that the non-US BLUFOR only have a very small role in the campaign; so I very much doubt you'd get much in the way of British kit if they did include them instead of the Czech forces. Too much work for what will be a fairly insignificant part of the expansion.

Personally I'd rather go without British forces than see them done half-arsed.

If they include some of the modern Czech gear like T-72M4 CZ (a bad-ass looking tank IMO), Pandur II, Tatra 815, Saab Gripen etc though, it'd be amazing.
