Yes, im using ACE 2.
You must open the Ace2 client side config and where it says //#define ACE_NOVOICE. You must remove the // then click Save. It should work after that.

Hi again,
I still have a bit of a problem with this CAA1 mod.
I got the maps working, but I am still missing a lot of buildings. In some cities, almost half or so is missing. As I go in to the editor and select for example Sahrani, it says something about ca/buildings/something is missing or so. I have tried to download the mod multiple times, but it always has the same issue. Plus, there are a lot of buildings floating around.
Also, I cannot find any of the vehicles and helicopters or so in the editor. Am I supposed to edit some files to get them working or something?
I'd be thankful if someone could help me with this.
EDIT: here is a list of what the mod complains about when I open the editor or when I play and roam in one of the maps:
- Cannot open object ca\buildings\abrezi.p3d

Okay, so i've looked on that site and downloaded an arma 2 launcher, but I just don't know what to do. Step by step? I copied the files into the folder, and in the mission editor, nothing.
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

CAA1 penultimate (the October 2009 release) which is the only one I can get to run Podaga is now available as a torrent
not many seeders yet, but if you like Podaga and want a quick fix, here it is...

Erm,... why? ArmA2 already has its own Apache A64A.

Oh i see, you want to Greek reskin of the Apache? just put it in your mod folder! if it doesnt work, request on here
if someone can convert it to ArmA2. It wont harm your game if it doesnt work, so dont worry.

A reminder for Installing CAA1
Download and install YomaAddonSync , CAA1 is in 'default servers'
You'll notice it's quite a few folders, including oac_core.
download them all. You'll end up with a folder called 'x' instead of an @ folder.
Yomatools should pick it up in the modset list (you'll need oac_core remember, and possibly CBA (community Based Addons)
don't run Autumn plants with plants classic, it's either or.
Voila !! we can always answer questions at 'nomandown', on teamspeak / skype if we're on, even use teamviewer to do it for you (ask for Wolf or Paly)

We added a map to our server called Sahrani. we used the yoma addon sync to do it. we then moved it to an @sahrani and put the keys on the server. I can connect ok and playing on sahrani works fine. However, when we try to play a mission on takistan I get an error message that says.
"You can not play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted. oac_core"
Can anyone help??

Maybe go back and download oac_core.pbo with Yomas Addon sync and add it to the mod folder where Sahrani is?
It's included in "CAA1 - ArmA Worlds - YASDLS" for example.

I did download from there. something isnt right. Maybe they are not installed correctly?
Lets say, I downloaded arma worlds for example. They show up in the x folder. Im not running ace.
how would I install that on the serveR?

Your question is confusing since you say you can play on Sarahni OK, so...
The message you recieve makes me think you are trying to play a mission on Takistan - without CAA1 running - but which was created when you had CAA1 running, and the mission.sqm has CAA1 objects in it.
Or post your modset string here for us to see

hey guys, I'm having trouble running this mod.

I downloaded CAA1 and put the folder in my arma folder (arma2/x) and have even put the -mod=@CAA1;@OAC_core on my shortcut, but it still does not run. Every time i try to open the island i get a CTD. What do i need to do in order to run this field in arma 2?
