Not all maps from ARMA were made compatable with CAA1 - Podaga is a fine example :'(

Take a look at thishere it might help you get it to work


Podaga now works fine, guess Kju must've fixed it, or something. Great island,
I had to change the road speed values 'cos the main gravel road in the centre made cars go toooo slow

I keep getting this message evry time i try and run Caa1, " 'glt_oac_core_efix' requires addon 'caa1_c_cti_buildings'" what in the blue heck does than even mean?!?!?!!?!?!?!

CAA1 is a mod that give players the opportunity to use all of ArmA 1 maps and objects in ArmA II.

Hi, i'm in trouble. I live in Africa and it will be impossible for me to download 2 Gb of CAA1. I just ned the typical caplants etc. But the dev site does not exist any more and I cannot download them separately! What to do? The other connect to server option is also not available for me since my gaming PC is not connected to the internet.

I just need the typical ca' pbo files.


Edit: ok found this site: https://dev-heaven.net/projects/cbp-caa1/wiki/HTTP_download
They changed the address. But the 'server' link doesn't work. I tried a FTP prefix instead of http but it also doesn't work. So one step closer to nothing. Why is everything such a bloody challenge with arma?? sigh!

i keep getting the same and cannot figure it out as i never used to get that error when running CAA1. anybody know? the site is actually nonexistent now. i tried using yoma and it didnt work at all, it keeps saying that the site is longer available.

It would seem to suggest you have installed GLT CAA1 Config Fix & Localization - if you don't think you have, perhaps some other GLT addon has this hidden within it's config.
This must be the case surely.
Does CAA1 run regardless of the error message?

One other very common cause for pbo's not to be found is when runniing a mission or script containing an error. It can be a completely un-related error, but stops the correct loading of the mission and addons.
This will be very difficult to spot, check your arma2.rpt file.

Oh and yeah, CAA1 is complete and closed.
The final version can be downloaded right here from Armaholic.
The final version did fixed almost all compatibility problems so the GLT fix probably isn't necessary.
