I have no idea how to extract textures from the game for editing. But I am pretty good with photoshop. I want to take all Marine Corps Infantry units and make the desert marpat. If someone can give me image files for these units, I will be happy to skin them.

yeah man...i dont know if you need the new tools for a2...or if you can still use the tools from arma1! either way heres the tools for both a1 and a2!

arma2 tools: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=6820

arma1 tools: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=2186

and if you cant find the de-pboing tool, just search "de-pbo" and several tools will show up..all of them work, but the best one is called "pboview"! im here if you need more help

I cant really help but Desert Marpat would be awesome!! Especially with the release of CAA1. It'd fit right in with Sahrani and Porto.
Good luck! I hope you can get what you need and make so kickass Desert Marpat Marines!

I'm using kegetys PAAplug v1.2

I have the image at RGB/8bit.

On output settings I have it on Autodetect, 8 mipmap checked Generate, Checked Dithering, unchecked FIlter Alpha Sharpen Effect None, Minmap filter Triangle.

Plugin settings are OK...you might want to try the default of Filter Alpha enabled. The stock -unaltered- Alpha 1 is still present in Channels, correct?
