Well guys, I just got the BI tools pack. I'm going to work on oxygen 2 for now and see if I can't eventually get a rough world war 2 japanese infantry soldier. I'll do it either for shits and grins, or if I can actually pull it off I'll post it....I mean if that's cool.

P.S. No, I am not a master of this kind of thing. Don't critisize me please, I doubt I can do it too. I'm doing this merely to see if I can, A: do it, and B: help at all. Thank you!:kots ..... man....

I'd love to have the pac theater. Nice big map, with lots of islands, subs, db-7's, hellcat's, zero's, Iwo Jima, etc. Would be cool!

Me and Aqu were talking what hell it would be to model tunnels into the game for Iwo Jima and other little islands that the Japs had dug in.

I'm still working on it and progressing quickly. I am, what you may call (I hate this term, too nerdy) a n00b. I'm getting really good at O2 engine so maybe in a few weeks/month or two I'll have it down. But if you and Aqu are up for it I'll skip my homework and get right on it!

I can imagine US marines storming the guadalcanal while zeroes fly over head.And then I imagine. OH GOD we need pacific theatre US soldiers too. The GI's and marines...I'll add that to the list :compcrash

Pictured above...Omaha Beach - Vierville-sur-Mer area therein. All objects placed on this area are not historically accurate or where they are supposed to be, nor is the terrain accurate. As stated previously in the BIS forums, there are four phases to the mod. The first one does not include a beach work-up. As we know AI have tremendous issues with objects on a slope without scripting. I was just tinkering around with Beton's addon's that are exclusive to this mod. Some of his objects can only be had with this mod. In the third phase release of this mod, I will include WW2 beaches and try to make them as close as I possibly can with a large terrain grid. I will also use WW2 photos, maps and data to place all objects.

UPDATE:

The final touches are being placed on the map for the first phase release. I'm waiting on a US tank crew and a M10. Once those are added, multiplayer testing of the new WW2 Game mode will begin. Once testing is complete, release will be eminent. I'm guessing a couple weeks away.

Thank you Beton for access to your addons. They are awesome! Great work!

I can't wait to jump out of a plane behind enemy lines at d-day, while another platoon storms the beaches.
FUN FACT:Doctors said that to be in the airborne two doctrs had to stand on each side of you, and if they could see eachother through your ears. They said you had to be completely nuts.
