Hello everyone. This is a project that I have been working on for the past few weeks. At the moment, the exterior is about 95% complete and the interior is only about 45% complete. I anticipate on releasing it within the next few weeks.

As of yet, this is the base model for the CH-53E Marine's Helicopter. I designed this model with the intention of usage for the 15th MEU Realism unit. I have recieved a lot of support form the memeber of this unit and they are helping me test the beta flight model for release.

Here is a screenshot of the exterior, thus far:

I still have yet to place the windows in the correct position and finish the cutaways for the doors, as well as a few minor asthetic features. I will provide closeups of the rotor detai, but they are modeled very accurately and very detailed.

Some of the features I will incorporate will be custom animations for door hatchs, landing gear as well as mounted guns from the doors.

Just one question is this an ArmA or ArmA2 project?

Very nice model!! I can't wait to see this in ArmA2 !!

But mcrist pleeeaaassseee make some different tan versions of this great CH-53Helicopter when you release this!!

Maybe for NAVY, ARMY and USMC.

I hope to see this great model as soon as possible!!

Here's the update for the Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion so far. Some of the polys have been readjusted to correct the nose, and various external elements were added. I also detached some elements from the model so that I may create other versions of the S-65 (HH-53, MH-53 Pave Low, and CH-53 Sea Stallion) and the S-80E class (CH-53E Super Stallion, MH-53E Sea Dragon). I haven't decided if I want to push towards the CH-53K as of yet, but it is under consideration.

So those of you worried about alternative skins, it's in the works.

Finally.

I see these birds on a regular basis, every day to be exact. I work around them, so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

"Out of every 100 men, 10 should not even be here, 80 are nothing but targets, 9 are real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle." "Ah, but the one, one of them is a warrior, and he will bring the others back."

Thanks for the offer, but I have an inside source to it within the unit.

The blades look a little odd though.. the actual model blades should only be seen when the engine is starting up. After that they should become a texture through a proxy model when the rotors hit a certain rpm.

Looking good though :thumb

Nice model m8. Looking good. Will there by any chance be a tropical jungle camo scheme ( see this pic) or will it only be in marine gray?

In the end it was no longer important who was right or who was wrong. It was the fact who shot to kill first. Who spotted the other one first out there in the boonies and who was faster on the trigger. You didn't kill because you hated the enemy, you killed so you and your buddies next to you would survive....

Really liked your MH-53E, however that is primarily a minesweeper. The CH-53E would look very nice especially with an underslung load capability.

However, even though it is no longer in service, I would really like to see the venerable MH-53J/M Pavelow added to ARMA2. For me it was the coolest and most interesting helo in the US inventory.

Keep up the outstanding work
