Hi Guys here's a quick video of some SP: Please note it was done with free fraps and the sound quality is poor(turn down your sound), little jumpy at the start but it goes away once fraps kicks in, the map itself runs fine for me fps wise. Anyway here's it is, few combat moment & traps from 3mins onwards, before that really is just an intro:

Who spotted the other one first out there in the boonies and who was faster on the trigger. You didn't kill because you hated the enemy, you killed so you and your buddies next to you would survive....

I gotta say guys i love what your doing but the terrain in that video looks rather bad, like arma 1 level of detail................ I like the mod though, might be playing in on another island though...

There are a few things to consider when discussing vegetation...

Here is what we have learned from trying to bring a proper jungle environment into A2...

Size of the island and level of detail for vegetation are the huge considerations. We could produce the highest level of detail vegetation possible, but that the island would be tiny. We tried making a larger island and higher detail veg, but A2 did not like it... FPS was down to 5-10, 15 maybe at best... unplayable... choppy...

We had to compromise with playability and the ability for community members with all types of computers to play. With the island sizes and the level of detail in the veg high, we would limit our audience to about 10-15%... Just doesn’t seem like it’s the best way to go… We want people to play and enjoy as much as we do…

But given the sizes of islands that we intend on making… performance and playability take priority. Given that, you might be pleasantly surprised when you play the MOD… FRAPs is only so good…

Can't wait for this MOD. It'll be nice walking in the jungle with that thunder of the Huey and Chinook flying above with patrols of Littlebirds and Phantoms screaming with napalm. Aaah, the jungle will be grand! Can't wait to meet the VC at the wire! Haha

Well we have something along the lines of some radio stuff in the works. But still experimenting with it. Can't tell won't tell what it is etc. As far as the outside goes, there is nothing there. Classified with big red lettering. And if you would find out we would deny of it ever existing *HELP* :-X :)

Please keep in mind that this is a WIP island. It is not planned for the upcoming Unsung release... CSJ is working on it as time permits... But there is no indication that it will be released in the near future. This is just to show you guys things we are working on at the moment...

Good news and bad news.
First the sites provider took a hit. We took a head shot and went down hard (not getting up). Our site has been blown away. Goodnews is R1 is final just getting our ftp up again so we can do one more internal run through then it's out the door, no dates but it will happen very very soon. estimates on R1 size before compression is 1.8 gigs, so there is alot of "stuff" you'll be able to kill, blow up, tryout and have some fun with. the release will be distributed to the usual sites whilst we get ours back up. we wont hold off release while re rebuild the site.

Sorry for the delay guys but stuff happens.
