The project is not dead just closed for a little while.

In his post above he just says he needs some time away from the forums and more to spend with his family.

getting very close fellas..... dedicated multiplayer testing thanks to the SPAFF guys brought up a couple little details that needed polishing. Thanks to Sekra, RKSL-Rock, Ballistic09, SgtMack, Tanky, Soul_Assasain, and the rest. I hope to be opening a release thread shortly
