Well to me it gives you the same GRAW feeling.

"Claustrophobic" feeling in that map. I don't know how the "opened" ones will be but If you check the SP missions posted in some previews all fights will be close ones, and with lots of buildings, ... around. (the first insertion in a chopper where 2-3 enemies appear after you insert like 100 meters away and they don't notice the chopper?.

I liked GRAW but it's not a Coop game which it's what I play. I think for TvT games it's a really good one.

GRAW2, as GRAW did, has great sounds.
In the demo I found my self always wanting to run cause the movement was "slow", you can crawl faster than walk pace.
If you check the map it blurs (kind of fog) about 150-200 meters away from player.
It felt like you can get lost really easy if you go between buildings, just as happened on GRAW, to find you end shooting against the enemy from 5-10 meters.

I still have to see what people can get from the Coop side, still the campaign is to be played only by 4 players and the OGR is the same, Recon or Firefight, don't know how the multiple objectives will work there.

So my final thought is that the game looks very good but have to see the Coop/Mod side to make my final decision.

Installing it now. Will give it a go in a few :)

What shall I say? Not much to say.
Sure sounds are great, I already loved how all the sounds worked in GRAW so it would be stupid of GRIN to screw that up.
Anyway, played for 15 minutes, and to me its just GRAW 1, only those maps I dont know.

But what I got really sick of was all that info on the screen, the diamnds, the messages, the objectives, the chat, the..............aaaaaaarghhhhhhhhhhhh just way to much.
I have killed a lot of people thanks to those stupid diamonds, I never saw them actually but soemhow the diamonds where there..........talking about something really stupid IMHO. Already hated it in GRAW1, now I think they decided they needed to annoy me more.

As for coop?
Well, does anyone really believe they can bring back GR style in GRAW? Offcourse not, GR coop died with the release of GRAW..........:(
(not talking about the still active co-op playing community of GR, there are still some around :thumb

Positve points?
Same as GRAW 1, play it with a bunch of nice friends (like the WTF's and other nino's), be on comms and have some good team action.

I might give the game another go when some good friends are online.........other than that I am back to arma again.
If you wanna play some great team vs team play berzerk!.......I love that now and than.

Yeah coop on OGR is still going strong, 9MS are still very active, my BF2/GR clan has had quite a few matches against them (all lost :() but GR is still very much alive. We even got some guys from Brazil on our server once had a cracking few games. However after playing ArmA, which is just so open and more realistic GRAW2, although an IMMENSE improvement over GRAW1 just doesn't have that GR feel to it.

Kudos to GRiN though, I think they've done the GR community good by actually waiting til the game was complete rather than release it half done (like most ubi titles!). I have a feeling many coop GR players will be moving to ArmA. Hell...if I couldn't play ArmA I think I would be buying a copy of OFP & expansions!

Same old. Liked playing the SP missions in MP with a few friends but after playing them though once it's a shelf game. Not buying GRAW 2 till it's about $10.

I have the first one, it came with my graphics card, all patched up too.

There were some things that i liked about it, like the MH-60 fastrope insertions but i didnt really like the game, it felt like a futuristic arcade fps.

Heatseeker : it felt like a futuristic arcade fps.

Which it is, nothing more nothing less.
Nothing wrong with that, just not my game. :D but it is for many, the MP demo is really played a lot, a lot of players are active, so thats a good thing.

I think GRIN have potential as a developer but this advanced console fighter thing is a no go for me.

i just finished the single player demo. i was surprised the demo ran on my system it's 4 years old i enjoyed the demo was geting 20 fps. and i liked the m-14 and i liked the option of being able to pick up enemy weapons. and geting one of the ghosts on the 50-cal machine gun. i will give the demo another run. i think i will get graw 2 at some point.

All i read/saw looks like GRAW. And it means it can be a very good FPS for TvT games.

For coop? I don't know.
