CameronMcDonald Armed Assault Czech version review

CameronMcDonald made a very good and informative review of the Czech version, he allowed us to place it here on the site:

======================================================

Having become increasingly frustrated with other user-made Armed Assault reviews, I
have decided to do my own. After procuring Armed Assault from the Czech Republic, I
received the game on the 29th of November, and immediately raced home to try it out.
Thankfully I was on university holidays, so I had some time off.

System specs
3.4GHz P4 (overclocked to 3.75GHz for this test, I usually run it at 3.91GHz)
    - cooled with ASUS Silent Square Pro and Arctic Silver.
    ASUS P5W DH Deluxe Motherboard
2GB PC4200 (533MHz) Corsair Value Select DDRII RAM (overclocked to
    ~590MHz)
    256MB ASUS (NVidia) EN6600TD PCI-E Card (I usually run a 6800GTO, but
replaced it with this weaker card for this test, overclocked to 335MHz core and 562MHz
    DDRIII)
Creative SoundBlaster Audigy 2ZS (with 5.1 surround speaker setup)
    Samsung 48x DVD-RW
    Floppy Drive
Western Digital 36GB 10,000RPM Raptor 16MB cache (hosting operating system)
Western Digital 150GB 10,000RPM Raptor 16MB cache (hosting game files)
    ThermalTake 750W ToughPower PSU
    ThermalTake Soprano Case

From the above, it is obvious that my specs are definitely held back by the graphics card,
as I had intended. Thus, this setup is likely to be just below recommended specifications.
Anyway, enough of this boring stuff, onto the test!

Hi Fox.
I just wanna say that i really enjoyed your review. it's the first English one i've found and luckily it was a good one.
I'm impressed that even though you have something invested in AA this being an AA specific site you didn't shy away from valid critisisms. That give yoru site a lot of cred as far as im concerned.
After youv'e had more of a go at it i'd love to read a follow up review.
Daman if those new shots available on gametrailers.com don't look as good as crysis to me, minus the yukky cartoony colour scheme.
Keep up the good work dude.

Also some fan/clan sites made some reviews......didnt really like them that much........but thats my opinion, I think others will disagree with me. :)
