Quite epic pack you got there. A few things, though. We don't use any semi-automatic rifle for designated marksmen, we use bolt action SAKO TRG 42s. So the M21 feels misplaced. And as far as I know, all our C7s and C8s comes with ELCAN sights, so the M16s should have ACOGs to give that feeling. And just for balancing, i know that there's a bug that allows the M16s (and all other 5.56 weapons, for that matter) to use the 100 round C-mag for the G36 and XM8, even though it still displays a 30 round STANAG. Just so the LSW guy got the firepower he needs to be a LSW guy and not just some lad with a ACOG'd M16.

Sorry if i ramble a lot. I just like to ramble. It makes me feel like people listen to me. People never listen to me :(

Not being a dane myself I really don't have access to this kind of info. The Marksman swap is easy enough. However I was sent a great deal of information by Binary on the BI forums who told me specifically that the Squadleader and various riflemen do not use acogs only the LSVs do. So now I am confused as to what is going on lol! Please someone verify this. Thanks for the info though. Looks like i may have to do a 1.2 release after all.

Well, I spent some intern time in the army, two weeks only, but everyone I saw had ELCANs, all the pictures my Sergeant showed me from Afghanistan showed Danish soldiers with ELCANs, both on the rifles and carbines, and I just checked up on their on-line image gallery, everyone got ELCANs there too. So does the men and women in the "propaganda" videos and such. I am completely sure every soldier got an ELCAN on their rifle here. Actually, thinking about it, I don't think I have ever seen a Dane with a red dot or ironsight since we switched to the AR15 rifles. We basically love the ELCANs, we mount them on everything we got, even our M2s.

EDIT:
Looking at videos of our troops from some guy's helmet camera, I have seen a few men with aimpoints. So I google'd "Danish military optics", wikipedia gave me this:

The Army almost exclusively use the C7A1 and C8A2 with the Elcan C79 optical sight, while the Danish Home Guard use the C8A2 with the Swedish produced Aimpoint. The main feature of the Aimpoint is the "both eyes open" sighting. This is the preferred sighting method at shorter ranges.

So yeah, we pretty much only use the Elcan, a few of our soldiers and our home guard uses the Aimpoint. I don't know how it is on a squad base, first thing i thought was that the C8 carbines must be using the aimpoint then, seeing the shorter length and slightly shorter range of that weapon. But they mainly use the Elcan too. Maybe make two riflemen, one called "Rifleman" with a ACOG, and another called "Rifleman (Aimpoint)" with, you guessed it, Aimpoint.

Very nice looking pack.

As for the weapons all army issued C7/C8 does indeed come with ELCAN sights. The national guard does however use ironsights, that might be where the confusion come from.

Very nice pack you've made.

But to clarify things a bit, It is not uncommon to see Aimpoints, holosights and ACOG scopes on our weapons. (though they aren't supplied, many of us buy them for our own money.) Reason being that alot of the troops don't like the ELCAN scopes and prefer other and more reliable sights.
And yes, I'm a Danish soldier and have been deployed to warzones and been in combat several times, as a combat soldier, so my info is legit.

Other things I like to point out, is that the M84 is way to light. The black pattern isn't "black" enough. Otherwise it looks good. And we don't have groin protectors on our vests, but do have shoulder and neck protection (though only with soft armor inserts).

Hope this info is useful and that you continue your good work!

Please read the readme....these are USMC reskins there is nothing i can do about the groin protector. Also are you using V1.1? the M84 has been tweaked a lot for v1.1 so it should be a lot more realistic. As far as the pattern not being black enough there are issues with that. Firstly I had at least 15 different danish soldiers send me pics of their uniforms and the color and contrast vary greatly depending on age of uniform and wear and tear. Also, and more importantly, i can get the black to match the color of a brand new M84 exactly however it makes you stand out like a beacon in game. I mean it is really bad people could see you from a mile away....Every time i change the M84 to the way someone else wants it someone complains its not right. I'm really not getting at you and I appreciate your feedback but I don't have any plans right now to update the M84 until i can do a completely new base model, which i will probably do in conjunction with the DDAM guys :). Thanks again for the reply though. I dont mean to sound rude at all but I can never keep 100% of people happy.

Hello Aeneas2020! Im glad you're making us good Danish skins. Id like to know, are you making those C7A1 rifles? or are they in the pack?
